Good studies and drawings Naidy! You're improving alot, keep it up!
My Deviant Art: http://askia47.deviantart.com/
Nice sketchbook! You've improved alot since your first page
I've noticed a small recurring error with the way you draw heads; sometimes the face begins too high up the head, so keep in mind that the eyes should start in the middle of the head, otherwise your characters don't have foreheads whatsoever
You haven't made this mistake in all your drawings, but I thought I'd mention it just in case x)
As for practise, maybe try lips/mouths? Some of those boys look a bit girly with those thin lips you like (unless it was intended of course )
Lots of great work and ideas here Keep it up!
I'M BACK MY LOVELIES
I HAVE A NEW LAPTOP AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND ABOUT NINE THOUSAND TIMES BETTER THAN MY OLD ONE RSIOGHSRGSRGSRG
Christ, and I've had allot of comments in my absence.
Sweron: You're totally right, don't worry though- I've been spamming anatomy studies since the moment I set foot in Ireland again, and I intend to keep going. xD
Sage tso: Och, thank you very much!
Sulphur: Thank you! especially for the tip, I've noticed that my faces were off and I just couldn't figure why- and those lips, I thought I'd drew them pretty big on those previous guys but the models had propper androgynous faces. xD
I do need more variation in my faces though, for years I was only really drawing two types of faces.
SO lately been doing more writing than drawing as I'm re-doing my old story
BUT LOOK WHAT I HAVE FOR YOU, THAT'S RIGHT-

Oh that's odd, it all came out tiny.
*shrug* Not much I can do about that really.
Well, I put it up on Deviant art if anyone wants to see it bigger. http://snoodledoodle.deviantart.com/...URNS-175548387

ah nice stuffs.i can see you been practicing alot.
in that last post of yours, the guy standing near that dragon thingy has proportion problems . it looks like he has dislocated his left hand XD.
anyways keep going and do work on anatomy
sense of purpose
jeez naid your images are too small
edit: ok i totally didnt read the other post
My god, Sin-eater- you don't know how right you are.
EXISTENCE (along with torsos, faces, children, guns and monkeys)
And Raffix, if the link's still small just press the download button. I am thinking of uploading some of the pics from that separately because of how small it came out. xD
:Edits: - Lets hope this works better.
Grandma found a collection of my old china dolls, please don't ask why I like them. It might have been the only feminine thing about my childhood. xD
Photos of myself and cousins, I think I was like 5-9 in the top left, followed by a recent photo of two cousins and the right most is another cousin when he was hmm, 5-7?
followed lastly by a picture of me and my previous cousin where I am incredibly chubby
I drew this on a boat, forgetting I was in public.
ACRYLICS AND CHILDREN = TWO THINGS I EXCELL AT RUINING.
Last day in England I set myself the task of doing hourly sp's, got lazy around 3 because I was full of the cold/manflu

Somethings I doodled because I'm bored of writing.
nnngh, I'm aware of the incredible errors in anatomy, especially the fact that Thain wouldn't look like that when he was young.
I think tommorow I'll do some face studies, do some Loomis spamming and do writing inbetween.
Good morning, good morning! Already let out the birds, saved some small green /thing/ and collected 5 duck eggs.
I can't remember what type of bird this is, but I know it's not a finch atleast.
At first it looked in a bad way so I took it in, gave it some water and it fell asleep on my lap, then the clock rang and it spent about two hours going spaztic as I 'gently urged' it to go out the window.
I dare not check the book case for bird shit, if they ever discover any I'm going to play dumb to it. But then again I think they're the time period romances at the top shelf so either way it's no big loss.
Also I bring you this.
The whole time I was sat at there drawing one of the turkeys the other sat next to me and kept trying to attack my pencil.
Drawn from a photo, but I actually kind of like how it turned out.
A unicorn. Because they're kawaii and what not.

So, since I've not been getting many crits recently I'll do some myself.
Eyes are still flat- study eyes , especially from different angles and so on.
A lack of thought in regards to shading or direction of light when I know fully well I should be.
Judging from the thing in posted 165 I still put little thought in bodies because I know for a fact there's something wrong with her lowerback, legs, hands and probably her far arm. That was done without reff, so atleast I can see where my problems lie there.
When I draw them with no reffs torsos are flat and generally short compared to the legs- so put more thought into that- don't treat it as a two dimensional object, it has form and value or whatever.
My mouths are still weird, sometimes facial features seem flat or stuck on wrong or misaligned.
I make no effort in backgrounds. I pay little attention to textures and shading in general and I need work with colours and anatomy in general and taking time on things.
TLDR: I need to man up and work harder.

You have posted some awesome work here ... really like your sketches. You have a great imagination and seem to be nice and prolific! Lovely work, cant wait to see some more!
YO NAIDY!!! did you get your results on thursday?
i got ABCD but hey, the top unis only accept people who get consecutive letters of the alphabet.
Hey Raffix, I'd say those are pretty good! What are the chances of getting it in that order too?
If oxford asks, you did it on purpose to express your artistic freedoms.
I got mine Over the phone- from my Mother. *shudder*
I was petrified what her reaction would be. xD
She only told me the grades of each module but they weren't too bad; Art was AB(because I was terrible in my second module), psychology was AC, History was CD and my music (Which they never let me drop) was an incredible U
nice line quality(something i struggle in) so i envy you lol
keep it up
Hey there, nice sketchbook you have going on here, I see a lot of material, which I love. Don't be afraid to use references for anything you're doing, get the general flow of the image and go with it, hope that makes sense...anyways, keep up the good work, i'll definitely be stopping by to see more!
Thanks Lang- you're totally right. I've been trying to get myself more into the habit of using reffs.
Having said that- this morning I've used none- ignoring the birds who I've been spending much of my time with. xD
So anyways- actual art done today, kind of...Almost.
Don't pay much attention at the 'comic' there (I use the word lightly) because it was done in about ten minutes around five in the morning, based of some dream.
Anyways, I'm blatantly aware I keep spamming my sketchpad for the sake of it so I'm going to cut down my updates and force myself to take more care with what I draw. xD
ooo sory dident se the oter pages haha sorry locking good!!!
Thank you Peregrin! I haven't done something serious with watercolours since my AS exam though so I need to step up my game. xD
And Sevarenge! Thankyou for stopping by my sketchbook It's allright too, to be honest I've been slacking when it comes to the studies. I need to change that.
Again, thanks to everyone who gives me support/crits you guys really spur me to stop being so lazy and work to improving!
definite improvement here throughout the pages!
Seems like you're quite confident with animals (the lil horsie fish-eye is my favourite out of the bunch, looks really well executed but half finished i guess)
watercolors are also neat, giving a contrast to all the pages.
humans/figures are nice and solid and show weight/depth but some parts are often a bit disfigured/out of proportions but nothing some more practice wouldnt fix i guess.
ahh, and thinking back on your talk about flat eyes, a lil tip ive learned is that as long as the drawing's big enough to add one or 2 white spots on the pupil/iris as reflection, its well worth adding them since they really bring them out and make them more alive.. its weird how these few pixels can make such a difference, though i must say i didnt notice problems with your eyes that much, they looked pretty natural for sketches.
Hey thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. I like your watercolours, and the faces on your male studies from the last page. I'd spend more time practicing your faces, they have alot of style, I think it would make your art even more unique.
