Marian - ha yeah it only took me a year+ to start doing imaginative stuff (what a mistake to make). I think its possible to start too early, but I left it way too late. Anyway, lesson learned, and these days I'm levelling imaginative skills too.
Speaking of that, train sketches (bumpy but fun as I always write!)
Ohh im diggin that inked portrait up there. i have to do portrait for homework, so gave me some inspiration
my subconscious does not stop begging my conscious to draw.
hmm does that mean im a slave to my subconscious?
at least it doesnt beg for crack. ha.
Really liking those monster sketches from your last post, great line work and composition on those
I see that you are busy through these days. I hope you do nice things in your life.
keep it up my friend .
Hi and thanks for the answer above. I appreciate it!
Lovin the creatures from yer imagination especially those "bumpin around in the train" sketches.

i keep waiting the nice update from our master of drawing THOMAS wowowowowaw.
keep it up always in your life and drawing
I have my reasons for not posting, and trust me, they aren't due to laziness. I've been working 6 months now: saving money and living at home, preparing to go to Ecuador in January. I decided to start learning a language, chose spanish, and now here I am three years later. I'm at an intermediate level (hard to quantify I know) due to self-tuition and I have worked hard to save to go away for a period of around half a year to fully immerse myself.
Anyway, as I leave in January I have been spending every waking minute studying spanish, and also doing a TEFL (teaching english) course. I will be finishing work on the 25th of November, and I will be back to posting again for around a month before I head off to South America. Once there I intend to fill a lot, and I mean A LOT, of sketchbooks with my experiences.
What I'm trying to say is that the recent lapse in work found in this sketchbook isn't due to just "tuning out" - but it was an intentional decision to prioritise another topic of study for a few months. I intend to return to England in June/July of 2012 and start TAD (something I am excited about even as I type it now)
And .... here are some sugar skulls which I hobbled together for a friend of mine who is getting a tattoo of the top-right skull
I'll be back in around two weeks when my contract finishes, to continue from where I've left off!
Ha ha Tom I didn't think for one moment that you had jumped ship! It's great to hear how well you are doing at steadily progressing towards your goals. The TAD news is super exciting. I can't wait for you to start so you can give me the heads up on how it all works for us Brits.
Love the skull tattoo designs and I am eagerly awaiting your return.
Im looking at your sketchbook, looking at last few pages of sketchbook.
I put my lips together and push air out in that motorbike type way we do when we do not have words. Fantastic improvement, your mass and volume in your pencil works I really envy. Paintings are beautiful and filled with life and energy. My hat is now off.
Really beautiful awesome sketchbook.
nice update my friend thomas
keep it up
Nice bridgman studies!
Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!
Still alive, just about! practically living and breathing spanish at the moment, but still finding time for some sketching here and there... all from life in London this weekend
Also, discovered a great band today which I thought I'd share too - well worth a listen I feel!:
