wow dude, i usually see your updates on my phone through the facebook app, but good lord almighty they look one billion times better on the computer. saved the latest batch, along with the others. totally radically awesome brah.
I just read a post of yours in the WIP thread and was touched by the genuine humility you seemed to exhibit. After reading the inception post here in your SB, I am all the more intrigued. Your introduction was startlingly intuitive in regard to my life experiences thus far, and I just had to offer my gratitude for your willingness to "talk real".
It is valuable affirmation to glean such insight into the mind of a successful artist and professional. Particularly from a perspective of hindsight. So, thank you for sharing such a personal journey.
I couldn't offer any input on your work which hasn't already been kicked to death, but the breadth of your skill set is what catches my eye, you don't seem to have entrenched yourself in any particular style or approach. A dynamic process for a singularly dynamic species, it only makes perfect sense. The idea of a linear approach to creating art has always jeered me, that an establish chronological series of steps should define "legitimate" art seems absolutely insane. As a late starter (27 years old) I find myself perpetually gravitating toward the theorem and philosophy of art, and to say it plainly, it has me spinning my wheels. BUT your articulate reconstruction of your early years has helped simplified my perception of my own art. I keep getting entangled in the speculative element of what could be, I feel each small success throwing me further into the supposition of my future with art. But I feel a little more grounded seeing people doing honest self analysis like that.
Anyway, i'll only get more convoluted if I say anything else, but thanks again.
my god this was one of those times that i finished looking through your sketchbook, looked down and the pencil was already on my hand and my head was exploding with creatuve juice, your work is amazing not only the thoght process behind it but also the general force that drives your images dude please never stop posting or i might become a morphine addict in response, my life is on your hands! (Jk wish you the best man)
Like the alien piece on the first page, I watched all those movies again recently. Even after all these years, I still think those old alien movies are some of the best in the sci-fi/horror realm.
