Hey it's guud, I like it a lot, especially the side of the cheek planes there, that's something I strugglg with a lot =) Mmmm.. I'd look carefully at your chin and near the far area of your forehead, those are key places which you could look at I think in your next sp =)
hey new concept its a little darker than what i usually post i was kinda going for the concept of genocide or war
kungfoowiz- hey thanks man ya ill def have to do another one i showed my girlfriend and she totally ripped into it she was like your nose isnt long enough your hairlines to far back your chins to narrow blah blah blah blah

Hey there again, The way you render the planes on your face studies is gorgeous! you draw tings without quite drawing them. I forgot to tell that on my last post. I tried kinda the same approach on some loomis studies I made, and didn't come out half as good as yours. I oughtta do some more of it soon. For crits, perhaps work on something a bit more elaborate? To finally sink all those great studies in one great drawing. Or perhaps I haven't quite looked for yor finished work? well, that, and maybe see you experimenting a bit more with colors. Overall this is great, let's see some more!
did a little bit more work on this and thought id post it still got more to do on it
Ricardo Robles- hey thanks for dropping by thank you
Morderischen- thanks for checking stuff out glad you like it ya going to start in on color a little more
Theodora_romania- ha thank you i like that one as well... im not sure what an open kroki is ..?
ok did a little photoshop experimenting with an old thumbnail i liked
just got a tiny little moleskin that fits in my pocket its pretty awsome
some quick life sketches from my new moleskin
ok last time i posted my image wont show up so lets see if it works this time alright another photoshop thing still kinda new to photoshop and some quick sketches in my moleskin of people walking past and sittin by me as i ate dinner down in hollywood
another one for the night
gobi- haha thank you i hope i can keep posting stuff you think is speachless worthy
ok i hope this image shows up
and here is the finished one
Wow amazing stuff man! Your studies are great! Like the last guy, I also notice you don't use so much line, yet it still looks good.
petej- hey thanks for stopping by ya to much line gets distracting still trying to find the balance of line and leaving line out
ok well all my favorite threads the artist talks about there thought process and ther inspiration and those are the threads i learn the most from sooo figured i would share more on how i do some stuff and im sure some of the people stoppin in here already know the stuff im learning and thinkin through but hopefully i can help a fellow artist grow anyway more moleskin stuff when im sketchin out in public i have very very little time to try and look at there face and draw it so when i see an interesting face i try and see the angles and sizes of there major features ie nose brow chin lips eyes then with as few lines as needed i quickly sketch that in adding details that help with the likeness and then stop ... when i try drawing in to much or adding all the details it usually just makes a mess and the readability of the image diminishes
one last moleskin sketch
I like your pens and pencils. You've got good sense of values, though sometime you misdraw the form. More accurate figure studying would help. Keep going man!
Hi again! your work is still amazing.
sweron-hey thank you ya just started to figure out form and how to study it instead of just copying it and im just starting to dabble in it i began to do oil painting just to get some concepts down but... ill be getting my own wacom tablet soon so pretty soon im going to start taking my skribbles thumbnails and sketches and doing some digital painting, but right now i have no tablet unless i use one at school
Seraph Fawkes- hey thank you for stopping by and taking a look glad you like some of my stuff, dont want to seem like im arguing, just wondering if you can be more specific on which forms are most inaccurate so i know where to focus my attention with my studies
PeteJ- hi again glad it still pleases you im always happy to hear that someone thinks its amazing =]
alright some brief studies and sketches on the face and its structure the girls face was my girlfriend in my backyard bout 30 minutes the other three are studies on structure of the face
then im workin on a character design for my drawing class at school so i did some quick thumbnail sketches of the two charachters nothing fancy just ideas
thanks for visiting my SB. man you sketch like a boss ha ha. One thing though you rush your drawings, i know allot of the time thats intentional but with your more detail pencils, which by the way are flipping amazing, you should take more care with line direction. Also try drawing on different paper weights and textures and see how it affects the feel of the sketches. keep up the great work.
Jeremy Swan-hey thanks for stopping by my sb glad you like it and thanks ill keep that in mind usually i use a pretty heavy weight paper that has a smooth surface but sometimes i like using paper that has a little bit of tooth to it cause it holds daker tones
opps forgot my images did some zorn studies
tronrobot- wow thanks appreciate that still got alot of stuff i have to improve on though
did a loomis study the proportions are a bit off and a few other things i should have seen but didnt tell the end
