I'm finally getting to practice more often so I decided it was time to participate here more often. I appreciate any comments and criticism. But at my current skill level, I just need to practice....a lot.
Currently, I'm taking art classes at my college, but right now I don't have any classes with live models so my sketches are either people I see in other classes, or pictures of my friends off of facebook. It's not the best, but it's kind of nice drawing people I'm already accustomed to seeing. You also may see sketches that are very similar, as I collect photos from popular websites like Deviant Art and Flickr, to use later as references.
Some of my favorite artists are Chris Newman, Marc Brunet, and KrHart, among many others.
Over winter 2009, I had to do a series of pastel pictures, the theme was death/destruction...sort of.
Two more recent oil pastels with no particular theme.
Ocarina of Time is my favorite game so these are to be expected. Also, a portrait of Summer Glau, which is fairly old.
