That robot looks amazing and I really like the color schemes in the paintings. How long did the last one take you?
ughh awesome paintssssssss... the raven/crow one is my ultimate favorite!! i hate you're awesomeness! :]
and if you want realistic lighting on your mecha... model it in Google's free program, Sketchup then light it up the way you want and paint over it in photoshop. very easy to do if you know your way around sketchup (this isn't hard either).
I think I have stopped by here before, and said that your paintings are dope.. or just thought about doing it, but never did it. oh well, wanted to say that I really dig the style you have at the end of the 6 page, the girls and the painting of the raven. Something kinda like comic book artists/tattooists sometimes rock on canvas. What to your work with? acrylics? markers? both? Loving that shit.. also nice sketchbook madness/studies. Post more of those type of paintings if you have any more, i would like to check them out.
Myodesopsia-Thanks man, I think the last one took about 7 to 8 hours total paint time.
r a y a n o i r- thanks haha.
Mattgamer- Haha thanks dude, yea I'm bummed I a.) snapped a picture of it with the flash after putting on the gloss coat and b.) didn't take a better pic before I sent it out.... Yea I've been meaning to download sketchup for a while now, gotta check it out.
Spark_zero-Thanks dude, yea its a style i really enjoy painting on canvas, these are all acrylics and india ink. thanks for stopping by!
I forgot to post this one up, its older, with a lot of anatomical flaws but I still like it. Cheers.
oooo great works!!!I love them all, but maybe in the afro girl these small whites make it appear flat and like glued on paper.
Keep up the good work!!!
