Robotus - Yes. I learned lots of small things. I believe though that things like principles for composition or color for example should be tried out and then forgotten. Composing picture to me is a process that should go somewhere in the background as you draw or paint. It's like breating exercise when you learn to swim. After while you stop thinking about it and just use it. I think it affected my art though I'm not sure to what degree? It's hard to see it from the distance.
KilianJ - Thanks. I checked the dazzle camo on google and you're right. Who knows. Maybe they could use my compositions on some battle ships some day .

Did you use anything like golden ratio theory or something to come up with your compositions? How did you go about evaluating the success of your compositions?
