nice style man
Great sketchbook. What I like most about your work is that you make art look fun. I think for me, I've been sort of losing my passion for art. Your sketchbook has really inspired me to keep making more illustration work.
I loved the colour doodles, especially the animals. The dragon piece is looking really great too (the Inspector Gadget cameo is hilarious).
I agree with Black spot about the Jedi piece. The original sketch had a better composition (plus the creature looks awesome), but the latter ones have a clearer narrative. Maybe you can combine the best of both?
Loving your work Awesome stuff! Especially all the sketches and doodles.
Hey man.. Where are you?

Hi there everyone ...
I have been away for so darn long! Been busy with work and family life. The arrival of my awesome little baby girl has forced me change my schedule severely! things are settling down a bit now so I should have more time to spend on personal projects.
Here are a few images and other scraps I can share. I will do a detailed shout out to every one real soon.
It's cuul to see you back! =))
Awesyum painting! =) Crits? Got two picks.. lull.. =) The lady knight's leg.. not sure if her right leg should be so straight angled like that.. feels kinda stiff but cool, the rendering is real smooth.. Only other thing I wud add is maybe introduce some texture into your work if you keen.. cuz atm.. it's reaaally smoothie smoove =)
Have a guud one! =)
Great to see you posting.
Your project looks real good so far.

It’s been a while … again. Here are a few more things I have been working on. As well as some of the older images in their final version
But first let me leave that long forgotten shout out I mentioned around a century ago ;P
@ Metal Fingers - thanx for the comment … I hope I managed to fix that in the final.
@ Kungfoowiz - Hey man! You don’t want to hurt my creativity? … don’t worry, My creativity and I don’t bruise too easy ;P … thanx for the words of encouragement! (BTW … Rage went very well ) Regarding the lady who is about to go over the cliff into the lava … I though the thought of a fiery death might stiffen her posture a bit ;P As for the lack of texture … I have no come back line coz I know I should have more of it in my work. I have added a bit more texture in the finals of the new project … Ill carry on trying to push it more and more.
@ Naidy - Thank you Naidy … great to hear there is an improvement I really appreciate the kind words.
@ Black Spot - Thanx .. I will (and indeed have) finished the dragon. Hope it you like it. That’s as far as I want to take the Jedi pic but I will try and avoid/solve the problem in future pics.
@ andres333 - glad you like it … thank you!
@ Istmin52 - Wow … that’s really awesome! And let me tell you… this is no illusion, I have oodles of fun doing my scribbles!
@ Benjy – Glad you like them. I think I have the most fun doing that kind of work. It’s a process that allows me to learn on the fly as the pics are nice and quick. Like I said to Black Spot … ill will try my best to avoid that problem in the next pics. What I find now about the Jedi pic is that there is no flow or movement in the lines. But since I hate working on a piece till it hurts and I would rather have something as a reminder, I will carry on and really try not to make that mistake again. I really appreciate the input.
@ cgaddict - Thank you so much, thanx so much for the compliments! I really have to get going with the posting but since the baby arrives I battle to find time
@ Trisscar - My favorite part of art … the doodling stage … Really glad you like!
@ George Abraham - Hey man I’m right here but since I see you haven’t posted since the 17th Jan … it’s my turn to ask … Hey dude … where are you!!!?? ;P
@ Trap! - Hey man! Wow I never thought people would miss it if I don’t post! Here is the finished Luigi pic just for you! I’m really trying to finds time to do more of my own stuff … hope I find the time coz I really miss it!
Damn nice SB, you've shown quite a bit of improvement since the start.
The Luigi piece is...disturbing . I also like the Dawkins portrait, he's one of my idols. Along with James Randi and Hitchens.
I really like the night scene with the Huntress and the beast behind her. Technically well painted - The breasts stand out, as they're well rendered (). The robot with the axe/scythe is rather nice as well.
"Never regret thy fall from grace, O' spirit of Icarian flight, for the greatest tragedy of them all to face, is to never feel the burning bright"
Believe my lies, for I tell the truth about them. Or would you rather me lie about telling the truth?
