I was cleaning out my basement and ran across a book called "Drawing and Painting from Imagination: Utilizing Non-Classical Techniques" by Don Stacy. I think my parents gave it to me when I was in college, but I never read it. From scanning the jacket blurb and looking at a few of the example exercises, it appeared to be more of that "just express yourself" BS you get in most art schools these days. So, to anyone who has read it, should I invest the time or should I just hurl it into the trash?
If people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it wouldn't seem so wonderful at all. -Michelangelo
Just read a paragraph of it, if you don't like it, throw it away or sell it. Simple.
