Been meaning to do this for a while and the upcoming class reminded me to get on the ball with it. I have a whole lot of files to resize. For now, here's the page I entered for the contest. It was done in Sketchbook Pro with the pencil tool while listening to Iron Maiden.
sketch of a "Griffin Lizard"
Chiustream Challenge:"Knock,knock... who's there?"
Caught the last 15 minutes of a Chiustream, theme was "Alice In Wonderland, Freestyle"
Ever get angry? Just play some black metal and start scribbling until your hand gives birth to abominations. I call this one "Rage Dump"
Self portrait for an hour Chiustream Challenge - this is where I discovered how fun the pencil tool in Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro is. I've since grown out the 'hawk...
Designing a Street Fighter Character for the first week long Chiustream Challenge... was never satisfied with this, but shoulda just entered it anyway. Oh well, live and learn... anatomy, live and learn anatomy :/

Very good stuff so far, you are an excellent artist. Keep up the good work!
For "Hour of Chiutensity" challenge, subject was "Ninja Ninja"as picked by the immortal Leebleeb. 1/28/10, a date that shall forever live in infamy as the first Chillstream "Hour of Chiutensity".
Follow Chillstream on Twitter, we are going to be holding this contest daily - get tensified!!!!!!!!!!!

Dragontensity, 3rd session. not terrible, but not enough improvement, noticing I have a tendency to not add the rim lighting around the lower jaw which may help define the shape more, hmmm... suggestions welcome, as always!
considering the last "ninja-ninja" speed paint was an hour and this one was 30 minutes, I'd say I'm improving... though that last one was my first speed paint in months, to be fair. Also note that I was very tired, and on the verge of sleep, when doing this one.
Need more ninjaninja's.
I agree I like the Strange Lycanthrope!! Ninja-ninjas and trangrannies ftw!
I really like that goat creature bursting out of the paper!! traditional or digital?
Please check out my sketch book!
Blue Bengal - the Goat thing is digital, mostly sketchbook Pro with some
photoshop at the end
Here's a bunch of stuff I've been meaning to upload:
This was the first "hour of Dragontensity" entry, which I failed at, due mostly to lagginess in Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro... Thanks to Leebleeb for schooling me after this innitial effort.
These are from 3o-minute speed-sketching competitions we've been doing:
"redesign of extras from 'Monsters Inc'"
Here's some entries froman hour-long speed-sketching competition I hosted whilesleep-deprived, I actually started nodding off at the computer towards the end, so forgive the putrid colors. iwas defending the value of the line of action against Leebleeb, who said it was useless for foreshortening.
for C.O.W. theme "Zombie Dinosaur". This is slightly modified since the innitial entry. I can still see adjustments that it needs, but time is limited, so I must focus on studies and on newer pieces more than fixing up older ones... Thanks to Davi Blight for pointing out lighting issues.
