Still havent figured out how to get rid of that stupid-f$%^&%$-ripple effect on the cursor, but will post something if I do.
Now, stop hanging around the lounge and go draw, the benefits of socializing are highly over-rated.
That is all.
If you want to get rid of ripple effect you need to uninstall windows tablet pc components from Turn Windows features of or off, also check your Pen and Input Devices in the control panel which has the settings for all those annoying bits (pen flicks and what have you).
Some reason since Vista, windows has decided to install tablet pc features when ever you install a wacom tablet...
I never have this problem. o.o

hey cryptcrawler! i feel your pain
i was dealing with the same thing just last week on a laptop i was trying to work on.
zack, our IT guy at mb, helped me find a solution though and i was able to get rid of it.
im pretty sure this was the link that he forwarded to me....and more specifically post #22 that worked for me.
hopefully that works. i also had some problems afterwards with the mapping of the tablet to two monitors, but zack figured that out as well... i dont know the specifics but can try to ask him tomorrow if youre still having the issues.
stupid windows 7.
awesome! glad to hear that worked for you.
i was about to go insane too... trying to figure that thing out ate up most of a work day for me last monday as i was trying to work on site with a client!
i still cant believe that got out the door without a basic on/off switch
I have to admit to having a Vista machine I use with a scanner for which there isn't yet a good linux driver. It's not a perfect world on either side of the fence, notwithstanding my joking around of last night.
Then again, nothing is.
Yeah. That's the poster child for "no OS is immune to viruses." I was pretty proud that the Fedora project had the patch out within a couple days of that discovery and breathed a sigh of relief that SELinux apparently doesn't let such things happen anyway. Not every distro is so diligent, though. I don't keep important files on my Xandros machine.
