Awesome studies guys!!!
More still life studies, some sloppy self portraits...
this is day 2 on this study. sooo slow >.< I've fallen into this bad habbit of not laying in the entire figure before i start rendering things out :C thus the missing limbs ;P

SamC: the colors on the poop looks really natural, keep it up!
isso9: really nice rendering on the still lives, but watch the perspective, like on the teapot it's off. Make sure you have a solid drawing before you start painting. Other than that, awesomee.

Waaaah, fantastic studies everyone! So inspiring for newbies like me.
A little late to jump on the bandwagon for the Golden boy incentive, but I'm here more for the improvement than a shot at the title.
Here are some quick digi master studies I did recently... Gotta start somewhere, right?

studies are looking awesome ;D
day 2 on this study and i pulled a jason chan and got stuck workin on the face which im still not happy about. oh noes!
day 1 vs day 2
Did a thing where I had some photos of poses, sort of eyeballed them quick and then drew out what I thought they looked like. Then I drew from the photo and saw where I went wrong, was pretty useful
Great sketchbook. And the practice of contrasting memory vs photo is a good practice to have!
I noticed several of your pictures, when colored, turned somewhat...flat, if not conflicting in value and saturation; losing the focus. I noticed it happened more with pictures with bright backgrounds. (Like the still life of a lantern, or the naked girl holding a tree trunk..) If I may give a suggestion, add some more value into your (already gorgeous) pictures.
Good luck and keep drawing!
certainly took me long enough for this ;P
those hand studies look awesome!
Failin' at the photo studies, and a self portrait. PS: natural light is a bitch.
Those studies are absolutely amazing. You have a really good feel and flow going on here. The use of colors makes them look very realistic. The 'from photo' and 'from memory' sketches are really cool. Good idea...might steal it.....hmmmmmm
