3/4 self portraits are hard... Also charcoal doesnt taste as good as it looks
My fav ballpoint pen ran out on me today
YAY LIFE! lots of life studies in here really good man. Keep them up.
Nice studies. The guy's left arm in the first picture looks a bit too long though.
Been a while since I last posted.. A lot happened, started working 12 hour weekends so I can have the rest of the week off to practice but now I do so much work I dont wanna scan it in anymore lol it would take forever so I think imma start uploading once a week or something and I'm not gunna post everything I do.
I did a quick model sheet for a friend this week too, was the first time using Photoshop for months, was hard to control the lines and even harder to draw from the shoulder.
Some1 is staying with me and there not alot of space so i dont have acess to my scanner right now, so im only gunna post these photoshop doodles for now. Might be bale to post the rest tomorrow.
Messed up the perspective on the last one.. might try and fix it later.
Nice work in your last post, especially that chick with the gun.
Been a while... I havnt really been saving the studies Ive been doing lol So here is what I could scrap up off my floor.
Also i finally got my wacom working properly after what? 4 years? lol so i did a digi sketch too.
Been focusing on the figure, its not easy but im obsessed with making it intuitive.
Quick sketch before bed
Heres something ive been working on for much longer then I care to admit..
Legs went wrong.. my vision of the leg armour design got lost along the way i guess... oh well the crop looks better.
I did some shoe studies on paper too, will upload them later when i have access to my scanner.

Damn.. the spammers have invaded my sketchbook...
value study.. should of picked a better photo.. i tried to put in more detail but after doing the basic shapes i could seem to take it any further. Also i painted this pretty small coz i needed to see my ref so im not sure how its gunna look when i post this..
some older stuff i forgot to upload
Edit: hmm? dont have to put in copywrite info anymore? awesome!
another value study.. took about 4 hours, i was planning to do another 6 of these today but i dont think i can pull it off lol we will see.
I like that you're doing value studies. try and get the proportions a little more accurate too.
cant be assed with this one anymore.. so boring moving on to something more interesting.
i learned alot on this one.. damn i spent way longer then i wanted to on it. oh well. umm this is number 4 got 3 more to do.
some of todays stuff. I got a set of 10 pilot hi tec C ballpoint pens today, there really cool and dont bleed when you marker them.
BTW, lovin the not having to fill out copywrite info thing. much faster now.
ok this is number 5... just one more to do and its gunna be tough.. i actually started the next one before this ut it was too hard to i did this first and now im gunna go back and give it another try.
Value studies are looking sweet! I really need to start doing some of those. I just got a cheap-o tablet so we'll see, I'll put that on my ever increasing to do list. That self-portrait you just posted looks nice too. All and all you're definitely improving. Keep at it!
putting in the hard work! good to see some those study's are looking very nice, keep it up man
