Wow, you've got amazing stuff inside here! I especially like the progress of the digger. The finished picture looks really cool. Very inspring!
Keep it up!
damn dude you are such a good teacher, those tutorials are so helpfull!
just 1 thing! How do you put an image(reference) next to the canvas(like in the values video)?
when I paint from a reference I open the reference and then I out the reference in a floating window...
ok. i just have to say that your website is amazing. i was just on there watching lots of great tutorial videos, and i am about to go download sketchup and start experimenting. you have just refilled my inspiration meter, and for that, i thank ya kindly!!!
Nice videos man, very useful
Just bought your video (the painting greyscale to color one) and it's probably one of the best painting videos I've seen (and I've seen a ton). Nice, straight to the point, and easy explanations.
I was curious what you did with the color dodge though (or was it linear dodge?)
Was it for the special effects?
i love the simplicity of the feature yet they still convey so much expression, also awesome tutorial as well @Matt
Oh nice Matt, so all the pieces so far in you sketchbook haev used this method? "glaze, temp layers, smudging, opaque layers, then color and color dodge to do effects?
Thanks for the tutorials. Could you post some about cast drawing stuff according to you "practice in greyscale tips"? I think, all the shadow / plane stuff is also helpful for pencil addicts like me.
Hi Matt, i saw all videos on your web site: ctrlpaint, and it's just amazing, i love your way to share your knowledge, it's just what a beginner should knows about digital painting.
thank you for all efforts you've made.
Absolutely awesome Matt. I really find your video tutorials most helpful. I need to upgrade my skills and you've provided fantastic content for people like me, for free!
Thank you very much. Also you have a great voice for tutorials
Keep up the awesome work.
PS - I really need to build me one of those tables you made, sitting for so long is not good, my back hates me...)
