I created a custom brush using the Palette Knife "Dab type", and angle set to Bearing so I can turn the stroke the way I want. However the only issue is that the Brush Ghost that shows me how the stroke will land does not rotate, it stays in the default horizontal palette knife position.
Does anybody know if it can be set so that the Brush Ghost changes angles as you change the angle on the pen?
This does not happen if you pick the "Flat" Dab type, it changes angles as the pen changes angle, so I know exactly how it will land, but I do like the super flat, sharp and smeary feel of the palette knife.
I´m using painter 11, and have a cintiq and a intuos4, I get the same result with an art pen or without.
it won't show your palette knive's rotation correctly regardless of bearing/rotation angle input; using art pen doesn't work as well;
it looks like that some brush types still don't support all brush ghosting features.
on the fourth day of glitchmas my painter™ gave to me
four random crashes, three broken brushes, two system hangups & one corrupted workspace
you also have to give the brush some "squeeze" in order to change the angle.
Thanks... that's what I thought since the flat dab works.
