okay..........I'm speechless I saw that painting in the first page (you know which one)
Was that an original idea of yours??? anyway I'm nobody to judge
figure drawing needs to be improved, you've got potential
one thing I'm pretty sure you're brave, keep it up!!
andres333, yep, an original idea of mine. thanks.
One from life
[my eye is kinda... weird]
And a photo study
Something I'm working on right now... using a new brush.
And my 2009 art summary. The idea belongs to http://rosalarian.deviantart.com/
That last where you said drawing women gave you trouble I thin the major problems are in the neck and the bust. The neck seems like it's just a bit too long, especially the way the trapezious (sp) muscles are small and feminine in comparison, it make the neck look eve larger. With the breasts I think you're probably just too used to doing men you drew them almost like pecs. unless they're really small I'm pretty sure they should break the line of her torso a little. Blacking out the lower half makes it a little hard to tell too since it's important where the nipple is pleased in relation to the bottom of the breast. Anyway, it doesn't look so bad to me. Try doing some self portraits in a larger mirror, full body if you have one, you don' have o put them up or anything if you're uncomfortable doing that but it really helped me get a sense of anatomy and everything. It's the next best thing to a model XD. Good luck
I have nothing interesting to say but here's my sketchbook, perhaps you'll think I've drawn something interesting XD http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=167964
Stargayzers are coming this way xDD Thanks for commenting, darlings.
strange1900, I tried to fix some bugs e.e Have to study the difference between f/m anatomy. Eh
Still in progress
A quick face
Ooooh, you've been improving fast! cool sketchbook, the self portraits are coming out nice! I like how the digital stuff is coming along. And it's ...ahh...refreshing to see some guy on guy action for a change XD, instead of the usual girl on girl stuff you see around here, haha!
As said many times here already, practice and more practice - preferably from life. Keep them coming. Erm... the studies I mean, not specifically the 'furry' art pieces!
Y'know, I was looking at the first couple of posts, thinking "wow, she's progressing so fast!" and wasn't expecting yaoi/slash to even show up at all. You have my respect for where I lack courage. XD Your painterly style looks awesome- I'm sure with more practice you can paint pretty women too!
Latest post looks pretty dynamic!
very nice updates your self portraits look great, i think the only think the woman you drew is missing is boobs (which are awesome btw on the second image in post #44 her face a tilted downwards a bit but her nose is facing up which is a little off i think. Keep up the great works Creusa
thegrayslayer, sure, moarrr practice!
Puppet., have to study lighting, yep... I'll try to play with it on one of my boobsy girls...
ilmenhin, yay! thank you!
miycko, ya came back! I'll try my best!
Dynamic poses and human proportions study. Trying to speed up the process.
It's been a while, eh.
Recently I started ustreaming... if anyone is interested - http://www.ustream.tv/channel/art-studies It's really fun and motivating.
And of course some upds
And a WIP. Some bugs?
OMG so much great stuff you've done i'm not a fan of chibbies but i have to say those are pretty cute COLOUR REALLY IS YOUR STRONG POINT the anatomy and poses look good as well though they have a little manga influence in them, have you tried doing any of the brigman or loomis studies? these are great if really wanna learn anatomy. you can find them both here http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=131117
Мои пупусики! *3*
floydshayvious, thanks =3
miycko, thankssu my dear! I did some Brigmans before, but not so good as you did xD Have to make up for lost time. I have bought myself a sketchbook ya now, but I'm too lazy to scan it. Hmm...
Congratulations to me, I have a wide LCD monitor now!
