Great progress again Ed. I'd recommend studying the skull though and trying to simplify it in your own way, combine that with Bridgman/Hogarth/Riley etc. until you don't have to think about it any more. Keep up the good work!
interesting colors. I think the red is oversaturated. Keep up these studies and keek thinking. Check proporsions/measurements between things and stay with them in every dimension
keep it up mate

Nice work man. Cool to see you still hammering those heads! One thing I notice is that you kinda draw the eyes always as if they were seen straight on. Which makes the head in a 3/4 angle look flat. I like to think of the eye as a slice of an orange and how that turns in space. Also I have a pocket mirror on my desk that I can peek at when I need help with perspective etc.
If you haven's checked it out already, heres a site with a bunch of notes from art classes by a K. Chen. http://www.angelfire.com/art3/kchendemos/
Keep up the good work!
Good job m8, just stopped a little in your SB to see what is new. and i am glad to see some new cool drawings ,cya around
Admirable, i love to see how the hard work and constant study makes you improve a bit more in every page. Color works are also getting much better. Post 820 is specially good, I really like when i see you relaxing a bit and going for some imagination stuff, donīt forget about it keep doing good my friend, and thanks for your support in my sb.
that's really nice doodles and anatomy i see it ever in your recent posts
try now to remember all these study and draw from your memory '' memorise it '' on the paper as complete face portrait
i like to share this toturial
i draw girl the best to give you tips for how to draw
keep it up and have fun
I think right now most of the time you're concentrating on "eyes-nose-mouth" thing, try to see human head as a whole, like clay, with it's bumps and points, oh yea and think in 3D! Where the light is coming from, how the surface will react on it...
Hope that helps! More updates!)
oh yeah you are the best with the massive toturials of drawing
so lets play this game i'll post to anyone including you through my post and comments some toturials could help you for improve your artwork.
websides i found it before few weeks i like to share it with you
keep it up my friend
Hi Kungfoo, hope you are well!
Nice progression since I was last here.
I never know what to say for specific crits, my mantra is always practice makes perfect - and you seem to be hitting all the right areas. One thing which helps me is draw from reference then draw the same thing from memory afterwards, sometimes the same thing several times from ref and mem until I learnt it at least somewhat!
Keep it up mate.
Hey man crazy good improvement since i last checked in here your studies are lookin wayyy better. your really getting good at those studies I do agree with loathsome tho you seem to be jumping between thoughtfull carefull strokes to rough hurried ones and i totally understand some times you feel like you have to get as many studies in at once. also your having trouble with spatial relationships and placing objects incorrectly so... solving this is just a matter of finding an accurate way of measuring your subject so you can place everything correctly there are several methods for measuring Tony Ryder has a book on figure drawing that does a good job of describing ways to measure and there are some good notes on the subject in the book of bones (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...=26748&page=12) keep practicing hope that made sense and helped if not feel free to ignore it
amazing! you have a lot of pencil works and the studies are paying off.
Nice improvements! I can tell your more serious from your anatomy studies, by naming them, and doing all the lines of muscles. Your digi's are looking up too.
Keep it up! peace!

Wow, anatomy increasing for sure,
but how could not, when you are working
like a beast. You are like a beast mixed with demon,
put together in a metal coffin kinda armor. You are the
man. I like your dedication, have nothing to crit this time,
I guess I am not that smart so I better not say anything
that will mislead you.
Sorry for being away a bit longer from here, I appreciate
that you supported me all the time, and I will never forget
that. Keep drawing and keep the good attitude bro.
Hey bro ,nice to see you working to improve your skills , i can say u are on good way to make it ...just keep working
Hey Guys and Girlz! =)

Sivonja - *High 5!* =)

Mullins study (failed bad at this..
Figures from ref....

i'm glad you're still working hard. Your figures are quite good.
Concerning your portrait: it seems you're working the face and the rest of the head separately. your should consider doing the whole head and do marks on the face before beginning to render.
Kudos to your patience on all those figure and pose studies, you're definitly getting better in some areas.
Since one of the main "problems" I see in your drawings is wonky, insecure linework, I suggest, instead of doing as many as you can, you try to work more time on one piece, analysing everything from proportion to value. I know what I'm talking about, because I face the same problem of losing my patience on one pic too early. For example the Mullins study has no bad foundation, you shouldn't stop there.
Hey man, nice to see you've kept drawing...
I can see a great deal of improvement here, grats! Keep up with those great studies..., even when you think you've failed, you've probably learned something on the way...
Keep doing what you're doing!
My sketchbook - help me get better!
