I just finished this up, I'm happy with the turn out...but give me a few days and I may fiddle some more. Comments, crits and observations of glaring errors welcome

This is a great piece. You clearly have your modeling, anatomy, and colors down pat.
The only crit I would give is that the piece lacks a strong focal point. It's tough to know where to look first. Even though a lot of your implied lines are pointing toward the guy's face, my eye doesn't immediately go there because of all the great stuff happening at the top of the illustration. I could see you playing around with lighting a bit to bring the focus on the faces of the man and beast - almost like a spotlight in that area, so the edges of the entire piece start to get a little darker.
I was kind of worried about that, I'll knock the highlights down a bit in the sky and hills and bring some darker colors along the bottom, I tested it out in a low res version and it appears to fix the focus. Thanks again.
i ve already told u how much i looove this one!
tnx for posting it here as well
Thanks bhanu and thanks again Darjan.
there's something bugging me with the composition, the right side of the painting is keeping my eye from flowing to the rest of the image, but I think if you were too move the dragon and the character over to the left and used more light on the man, he wouldn't look so flat against the white background.
Hi zacharybear. Thanks, I had played with moving the beast and warrior around during the drawing stage and moving them to the left would put them nicely at the very bottom of a visual triangle, but I found that the beast was getting very tangled up with the background...so I opted to keep them over to the right a bit further. However, I have made some color edits since I originally posted the pict, and I think this edited version helps the focus and frames the subjects better. But I may try moving them over again just to see what happens.
