Ok so I have this sercret project that ive been working on for many many months now. Ive produced a bunch of illustrations but I can only show a couple because they may give away details that are important to the story. Ive chosen a few that are pretty generic, they are important to the story but vague enough that I think they are safe to share.
here is another. hes sad, he lost his wife (also hes kind of invisible...)
wow very interesting work!
the perfect balance between them being similar thematically and stylistically but also different!
very good technically!
this is my art history blog: "teenager traversing art history"
ps i know it has a horrible name...any suggestions are welcome!!!
Heres a pretty major update to my rat in the desert painting. Ive worked hard to get the lighting and colours as right as I could. The colours are definitely exaggerated but its the feel Im going for.
I worked on the rat, the only thing that is unfinished are the feet as far as I can see.
Also its painted at 24x36 so its high res enough for print
Heres another im working on. This one specifically in painter though. Which, is a program i rarely use but found it to be very fun! gotta put more effort into this to finish it but its off to a good start none the less
Your work is so hot man, such fun and experimentation through out too. Love
These are just a few pages from my sketchbook that I thought i would share. I want to see if I can fill a whole sketchbook like this. I think it would be epic.
This is a painting I came across that got lost in old artwork but its relatively new. Im not much for painting on canvas but this one turned out rather awesome. Its very simple yet there is something to it. I remember trying to do something like frank frazetta where I moved some paint around for a background in a dramatic fashion. It wasnt till a year later that I painted the single dark layer on top which turned it into something cool.
Hi there matey
thanks for taking the time to help out in the WIP section, that was good of you and with some good comments too which is also useful.
I like what you have done so far, the map box especially, that was pretty cool,
The idea of filling up a sketchbook like that is a fun idea too.
Thanks again for the posts and I am now going back to trawl the rest of your "SB" again for some more inspiration, see ya!
A great kind hearted lumbering bullock

Your compositions and movement are amazing, like the flower shop is just very exciting even though, it's a flower shop. You can make anything excitiing with movement and color. I think your ads are great to look at they are appealing because of the bright colors and handmade look. I would like to see the cat brought up so it is touching the girl though so they are not competing for my eye. Whatever the thing is in the lower left, distracts from the focal point. There are too many competing elements.

Thanks lightship I hope my advice helps at all! There is a lot in here so have fun exploring ;D
Thanks izi, i appreciate the thoughtful comments. I see what you mean about the cat and girl, I think it will work out in the end when I get there. Not sure exactly where I am going with it but I have some ideas that should help balance it out. This piece really is a feast for the eyes though, but in the end its her curves that are the focus. Lovely lovely curves... haha
I havent updated in some time, here is a sketch of santa and his 9 reindeer. Im doing this for another exhale ad/poster give-away. I have a long way to go but will show the ad's sketch soon enough.
Here is an update for my frazetta style painting. I am taking liberties because i dont want to copy frazetta completely. the sky is very close to one of his and i drew my version of the girl and cat from frazettas movie fire and ice, beyond that the style is a lot closer to mine.
awe man I love your work dude nice progress ! one question what kind of practices do you do for environment practice??

Is there a particular one you saw that made you ask that question?
Here is the final wallpaper (downsized) I made of a character I really enjoy playing in the game League of legends called Heimerdinger You can see the previous version above ^
Got some stuff to show probably but this is what I have at the moment. I studied some chrome and thought it would be good to paint it a bit.
I decided to update an old painting of mine just to see how much I could improve it. To my surprize I made it about 200% better, maybe even 300%. You decide.
Any for those who are curious, here is the old painting next to the new one.
Awesome sketchbook! I really like the piece in #332. Keep it up!
Someone said I should draw a ninja turtle so I gave it a short. I first did it with watercolour then coloured it in photoshop.
Been doing some tshirt designs for one of my clients and did this one featuring out favourite genius, einstein!
