Those back muscle studies are faaaaaaa-bulous~ Love 'em. Feet and hands, too. Reminds me that I need to work on those, ha ha.
[ste] - Thanks bro!
lilnebo - Thanks
Benjie - Thanks! I've been neglecting anatomy studies lately while I've been doing heads. No good!
Danny_K - thanks
emperor_boy - cheers!
Man, finally back from vacation, been drawing some today and yesterday. Need to buy more of that cheap copy paper, to expensive to always use sketchbooks.
Some skintones. Left one from photo, middle I reffed color from the photo on my own figure, and the right one on my own figure with no reference. Did real quick figures for these so the anatomy is way off.
Some sketches, no ref.
Still having probs with the head in angles.
I like the muscle studies and the environments! Great work!

pepew pew art explosion. Good studies man! Your colors are looking a lot better! One thing that has helped me drawing the head in angles a little better is thinking of it as simply as possible, cubes work best, then just mark off the features in perspective and start 'sculpting' them in. Keep up all the hard work dude man!
nice update, like the sketch no ref and the heads are looking better. But watch out for the blurriness in the enviros.
[ste] - Thanks bro!
Fetsch - Thanks for the tip!
hammajamma - Thank you sir!
ReaperKing - Cheers!
Metal Fingers - Thanks man, I'm desperately trying to find a shape for the head that I can relate to.
cgaddict - Thanks! Went and bought some today ^-^
jskotte - Thanks! Ye I noticed that too, hope it goes away with practice.
vatteh - Hope so! Thanks
Drawing and drawing all day long, but when you have the stuff you did in front of you it looks like not much at all. Where does the time go?
Light practice, right one turned out to be a girl. Why she has a mullet I do not know.
Dirty sunday, hm yes.. That's a good excuse.
I know what you mean with time is just flying when drawing, my time flies a well. But I think you accomplish a lot in that amount of time still
Figures look good and nice lighting on those painted faces.
As for the blurriness in enviros, the best tip I got which has really help me, was only to use 100 opacity and flow, you have to be careful with the colors, but the outcome is usually much better, it was at least for me.
[ste] - Thanks dude
Danny_K - Cheers! ;D
jskotte - Thanks! I'll try that.
Cant be bothered to scan my pencil stuff right now, but thought I'd show my entry for this weeks chow.
Color, wip still obviously. Tried to start with black and white but I suck at that technique, always ends up me having to paint everything twice.
I write here cause i dont know if u see my answer if i reply on my sketchbook
mostly I start directly with some colours, ( but same procedure if i go in black and white) and when i have all the values and the anatomy roughly done, so im sure of how will come the piece, i start adding details and stronger lights, which is the funny side for me.
so details i do in the ending part, but i never start in black and white to turn in colours from a while, im tryin to keep the same approach from beginning to ending.
btw thanks for your feedback, and congrats, see u r improvin too, and u r doin tons of studies =) are u planning to do some portfolio pics in this days? im curious to check your new stuff
DefiledVisions - Thanks man! Means alot coming from you.
Loathsome - Tack
eidenet - Thanks alot for the description, ye I plan on making some for my portfolio, no sense in delaying it any longer I suppose Thanks!
some heads done in photoshop. no ref.
WIP of my CHOW piece for this week.
thanks for stopping by my sb... really nice work man! i love the giant eye monster lol. that last set of faces looks great.
Nice studies again Heads from imagination are pretty good. I like the eye monster, but something seems a bit off to me with his back leg. Maybe it's the inner thigh, too wide, maybe push the hoof back a bit. The eyes look really cool.
Looking nice Alex!!
Insane amount of studies you´re kicking out and it really show´s on you´re work.
About the chow, the light source is very inconsistent atm it is especially visible on the eyes with the strong reflect light.
The design looks wicked though so keep it up
ur hand studies rock man. how did you do those. looking at your own hand? or what
offwhite - Thanks alot my friend.
jskotte - Thanks! I know what you mean, I tried to fix it.
Metal Fingers - Thank you very much, fixed the leg but decided to keep the hand as it is, thought it was a bit too small on yours. Thanks!
DK_sketch - Thanks bro, I see what you mean. Was gonna fix it before I submitted but ofc. I forgot. Next multi-eyeball freak I'll remember
Joce - Thanks! Yeah I looked at my own hand in a mirror and stuff, glad you like 'em.
Danny_K - Thanks bro!
cgaddict - Cheers!
Finished my chow. I'm calling it finished at least.
Might as well show the process picture too, if anyone is curious.
Study from photo.
Some stuff, a page from the sketchbook and a girl I drew in Photoshop. No ref.
