You've absolutely opened my eyes to the potential of this program.
Wow, just wow.
Ok fuck I'm totally blasted right now. A just discoverd your thread, why don't you have a finally finished sb?
Dude I love all of your work, those retro cars are just the shit. Some of them are exactly the car I would love to drive. I had no clue that sketchup is such a powerful program. But hey you start with a sketch for your awesome designs or do you just start to model?
Cheers man again your work is gold
sketchup given me simple but powerful instruments for my works.
I trying to do it in 3ds max, but it too hard-to-do-smthg in it for me.
OMG!! After brwosing through all your Sketckup pro models, i got the urge to learnt more of this program but seriously; i do admit Sketckup pro is easy to learn but there's some of the function which I not sure how to use it.
But can i ask a question; i know it might sound stupid but do u did a front, back, side view blueprint for all your car models or u just model it out from your imgination?
Err.....I don't know if I should ask this?
But is it ok if you can post up a tutorial on youtube to show us how you model a car? I tried following the tutorial in your blog but there's some parts I couldn't understand and got stuck for a long time and I'm still stuck...
I couldn't get the V-ray plugin due to some weird settings in my comp..is it ok if i can get it from you?
very strong style, beautiful...
I have no Video-tut about vehicles, maybe once I do it.
this is my pictures based on sketchup backgrounds, not ended story about Bluehair girl.
thanks a lot man, really great videos! So you don't use blueprints but you have some sketches of the car or ideas done befor starting to model - don't you.
Keep up the great work am a absolute fan.
awsome stuff man... i loved the retro coloring+ futuristic design concepts.....
so retro bad ass, looks like it belongs to a super hero
I was looking at the radio tutorial on your youtube channel and I kinda noticed that everytime u used the line, square and circle tools, there is this line which acted like a guideline for measurements and accuracy when u drew...what function is that? How do i activate it?
can you make screenshot and show guideline? I do not understand what you mean.I was looking at the radio tutorial on your youtube channel and I kinda noticed that everytime u used the line, square and circle tools, there is this line which acted like a guideline for measurements and accuracy when u drew...what function is that? How do i activate it?
Oops sorry....here is the pic. I apologised for the pic quality...can't get a good one.I drew a cirlce and an arrow to indicate. These 3 lines keep appearing when you used those drawing tools but not for mine.
Is it a plugin or i have to activate a function?
mad australian car))
I am truly humbled by your work in Sketchup. The most I have ever used it for is designing kilns and physical structures. I am going to have to re-explore it now all over again!!
Could you try to explain or make a video to show us how you manage to create complex smooth shape like the body of the car in those pictures ?
I am a newbie with sketchup and I would understand how to do it. I am fine with others parts of the software (ten years of photoshop helps).
By the way, thanks for sharing your creations, they are amazing. I realy like your style !
woow, just stunning. Love it. Would love to see more vids of how you create these cars. Just splendid!
Really amazing art. Now this is what the future should look like.
