Work more on gesture, to eliminate the stiff looking of some of your drawings
andres333: Yeah I should do that.. I haven't done posemaniacs in a while so I might just do that.
I'm not going to finish this one because I used a bad reference at first and then I realized I couldn't see enough detail or the correct color. When I checked a better res picture, it was completely different...
oh well, at least I worked hard so I bet I got something out of it even though it doesn't look super awesome.
Enough talk, more painting.
It's a Da Vinci study, btw.
I thought I'd post this just for fun. It's a meme I found on Deviantart. I'll submit more serious stuff soon...
At 13 I started drawing (on a more serious rate) so I'm not including 03-04..
4 slots per year is too little to showcase my improvement. I've changed like crazy, up and down, left and right. You would get pretty dizzy.
Hopefully I'll improve even crazier this year!
Haha nice improvement chart, I'm really glad you broke away from all that anime artwork. Studies are your best friend, keep doing them, and hopefully within a year you'll be completely shocked at the improvement you've made.
Nice progress, keep on going!
My sketchbook contains cartoon studies and Pokémon.
Thanks for stopping by my SB, much appreciated.
You have some nice work in here, with the development chart being a really interesting concept. Keep up the good work, especailly the more refined digital artwork as that is defiantly your biggest strength, as can be seen in your chart when you compare the quality of work produced in 2009 when compared to 2008. Great stuff.
EDIIT: Thanks you guys. I forgot to reply Thanks for the visit, I'll check your stuff again sometime soon And I'll totally do that Fiddzy.
These are done during a live stream. If anyone would be interested you can find the info here: http://connyscornerstream.blogspot.com/
First environment ever.
1 - 1.5 hours
So like you see I'm super new to environment stuff so if you can suggest me any reading or anything, just tell me I'd really appreciate it

Great stuff, I think you have amazing potential for some future masterpieces
Thanks Shadow, I really appreciate it
Here's some studies from today. I didn't finish the painting but I'm going to tomorrow. I found out that I have a weakness when it comes to painting skin.. and folds.. so this thing is awesome for me.
I'll try to post daily. Cheeererersss.
There is lot of intersting stuffs here and you seem pretty advanced on digital painting. About sketching I would recommand you to work on the quality of your lines and also to use basic forms (box, sphere, cylinder) during construction.
Hope that helps and cheers!
Good work on the photostudy there!
This is from the sketchgroup but I couldn't focus.. there was this weird kid coming up to us and talking about weird stuff and he pointed on everything and stuff. He even started jumping infront of me and looked at my hair and asked "why is your hair shaved on one side? where's your hair?" All kind of weird crap.. oh man. I hope that was the last time I saw the kid, I couldn't stand another friday with that person running around.
Portrait practice of the week. Made it monotone cause the color in the photo was driving me crazy ): Need more practice with the tone I guess.
I've done bridgman studies and a lifedrawing too but I'll upload them later.
