R a n d i s, I also agree that there are no set rules in becoming proficient in understanding and creating art as there are many ways to achieve these things. If there were, then we'd all make the same picture (which, funnily enough, has happened throughout history, especially in photography). Also, great art!
Thank you man!
Thanks for the magic word too! I wonder if it works haha
Thank you! Hey, like you avatar, i am a big fan of oldschool shooters. cheers
I am a bit in retro mood this days
Man, I go out a weekend and you have a ton of new things.. This Flyborg has nothing to envy to the best of Sorayama and the Amano piece blew my mind.. Also like quite much the piece on #447, (which purpose was clearly to study fabrics and butt cleavage )
Glad you didn't go
Btw, love the creatures and the ultravibers
EDIT: Oh, I forgot maybe some environments would be a change in the sb, but it doesn't mean that I don't like what is here already

Yes i really need to do some more environments... I actually enjoy painting those...

A cyborg and a quick body study with a linear brush, (those are a tad more artsy and actually pretty useless for me, so the image looks a bit crappy)
For me is funny how we relate courier to bot talking
These look great, 5 stars for sure, keep posting
i can't believe it's been almost a week since i was here enough typing i have six pages of sketchbook to catch up with
EDIT: just read that letter you posted yesterday on getting better & you have a very good point, man i have a rough ten years ahead of me

I dont post a lot on here but after spending a lot of my work day in this thread i REALLY have to say thank you Randis.
Ive had a lot of problem keeping my head in the game and working as a graphic designer in a small town where 90% of my work is boring generic sports logos it can really bring me down in a few different ways..
I had barely touched my pencils in the last month until last night and it felt very liberating to once again indulge in the things i enjoy drawing.. Im 31 one now as well and lacked professional instruction of any kind while i was growing up so i know i need strengthening on many aspects of my ability but you have reawoken a fire in me today to get my ass in gear and get back into observing and creating what i enjoy..
A HUGE thank you for filling my head with inspiration and motivation.
I've bookmarked your sites and this thread (which im sure i will revisit time and time again when i feel my job overcoming my desire.)
Once more Tank you.
Edit - Sorry for the wall of text ^_^
@ Quike Garcia
Thanks man! cheers!
I didn't install font packs on this pc, i was actually looking for some oldschool pixel font

Thanks a lot!!! made me super happy!
Thanks man! I am glad if i could inspire you a bit.
I can relate to your problem. Job is job, sometimes its no fun but nothing compares to personal art. So, pick up your pen my friend and DRAW!
No worries i love it when people write more.

Thank you! I learned by myself. The time i started everyone learn by them self more or less, there were no books about digital arts, nothing helpful at least.

BUY MY SHIRTS PLEASE - They're awesome.
Thanks man! Hope to see you here again! cheers!
Thanks a lot! Glad you like the work!
Thanks for the website tips too!
Website is slow... i know that.... No tuts would help with that sadly...
reason is simple> Server is in Thailand. (cheap, shit server)
The complete gfx interface/menues and all is a tad more than 1 mb all together.
Images in the gallery are not compressed as strong simply to have a better quality as people were complaining before and frankly it didn't help with the speed at all...
My old website was together with all gallery images (about 100 pics) less than 6 mb, slow s hell...
i will change to some European server this year, this will change things
the latest one is a nice break from all the metal and gadgets you've been painting up
Thanks! Good to hear that you like it. I often change the topic, depends on my mood.

Could not sleep tonight... so i painted a new image,
About 4 and half , semi speed painting
hope you like it!
What's going to come out of there?
Hell, you are amazing!
I looked trough your whole SB, colors, anatomy... everything's neat and imho close to perfection. And on top of that you're feeding us with great stuff every day...
Also the post on the last page is really helpful, I'll certainly show it to friends who always buy the best of the best just because they think it improves their art.
It can help because some of the expensive stuff really is convenient but if you rock, you can paint with mud on a wall and it would still look good.
You mind telling me on what resolution you are usually working or are your pics always the original size you used for drawing?
░▒▓█▀▄ Please critique my SKETCHBOOK ▄▀█▓▒░
nice updates, you are rly busy I see. The forest dood is my fav on this site, great speedie!
Keep up the inspiration!
Hey, great one, thanks for the step by step gif this is way better than the golem one
And I really like the forest god, has a great Ghibli feeling
really cool alien abduction/landing, which ever one it is & that Forest God looks badass, not to mantion that semi speed painting ROCCKS, i've been watching the process .gif for the last twenty minutes & i still don't have a clue on how i can get myself to do something like that
gif is brilliant, thank you very much for taking the effort to post that. Post 464 is very spooky, loving your sketchbook right now.
