I'm a little late but here is what I got so far. A graphite drawing measuring 24x18 inches.
As you can see my digital camera takes blurry pics (as well as warping it but this is more likely my bad photography skills than anything else) and so I'm not sure I will be able to upload anything of higher quality At any rate I'd better hurry with the deadline approaching ever closer. Tell me what you think and good luck to everyone.
First make sure the work is hung up, this is the easiest way to get a good shot. If you cant do that then lay it flat on the ground and then stand on a chair or something and try to keep the camera parallel to the ground. But you should try to hang the picture
When taking a close up, use a combination of zooming in, as well as walking in to the pic or walking away from the pic.
In the instance of your last pic I am guessing you were too close to the drawing and couldnt get the proper focus on it. Instead of zooming out, just take a few steps back.
Otherwise the art looks good.
make sure you take good pictures of your work it is important!
I think it came out nice. So...how do I submit this and how do I know how many pixels wide it is?
Very lovely piece!!

I had already figured it out and sent in my entry. Thanks though to all who replied. As for color Nironeru it would of been nice but I don't know much of anything about that. What I do know is traditional black and white and am hoping that I still got a shot with all of the great colored digital submissions to compete with. Like I said though this was fun to make and I wish the best of luck to everyone.
