Great anatomy studies in your post. It shows great improvement from your first page. I'm curious to see you do other things like getting into paintings and value studies. Keep up the hard work.
Looks like I came across another artist who likes vilppu's drawing approach. Your anatomy studies are really great. I like the fact that you also draw the bones a lot, something I should do more. The only advice I can give you is to try to balance your anatomy studies with drawings in which you go for simpler more natural forms instead of emphasizing the anatomy. From experience I know that if you don't keep a good balance it can give you troubles later on. Keep up those great studies!
that is some great improvement!!! and that is what you can call anatomy studies, dont know if it was questioned before, but which anatomy book or books do you use?

ok it's been a long time =(
to make long story short, my new major is hard as HELL!!
it's taking me much more time than I thought it would. =| But I know I can make it. I only have time to draw while I'm on the bus to my University
fenixx: Yep I was in animation, but it wasn't what I wanted to do
surus: I use characterdesigns.com
Kungfoowiz: haha thanks , of course animation helps I never said it didn't, I dropped out because of other reasons the institution didn't live up to my expectations that would be the main one and on top of that it was to expensive. Thanks again bro
Eric-Anthony: it's just discipline man, if this is really what you want then you'll make it
monsi: woah its an honor
BluezAce: glad to hear that
hummel1dane: woah thanks for taking your time to write all that I really appreciate it
My57: ok =|
teapo: naah your right man looks like i'll be struggling with proportions for the rest of my life.
Istmin52: woah paintings is advanced, i'll leave that for next year
fantasyartist: every now and then I came across some wise comments like the one you wrote
-D_art-: I use vippu's material for almost everything. refer to this link for a more detailed explanation http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2850715#post2850715
Sonia Leticia: hahha thanks
Awesome anatomy studies! Gives me some ideas where to take my studies sooner or later. Keep on updating!

Crazy cool work.. yip it has been a while.. you actually drew this on the bus.. wow bro.. I am impressed, because buses have a tendency to bounce around (at least where I am). Know the feeling, I have to do drawing at crazy hours now just to get a semi ok amount of drawing done.. Keep well for now bro.. oh btw.. I'm 27, you asked the other day. I'm doing animation, but the art side of it. =)
Love the figures dude. Your developing your drafstmanship skills quite well. Keep it up, and don't forget to splash some paint now and again
great anatomy sketches you've control with the pen
life art practice the best one to improve your art
good luck and keep it up

This is awesome stuff you got going on, seriously!
I find that your constructions are more solid and perspective better aligned than what is usual for "Vilppu" style of drawing, I really like that!
I really really suggest you take a look at the 10 video lectures on human anatomy by Robert Beverly Hale, his construction system is perfect for learning better proportion, it's kinda what Mentler the bonedoctor is following, you know, with the 5 eyed boxes etc. Maybe it's not the end goal but as a way of memorizing the figure it's awesome!!
Good practice! I've noticed that some of your heads a bit too big for their bodies. It's ok haha, we all started with that mistake! The more you draw from life, the more you'll get used to seeing the head to body ratio. That or measure out your drawing with the traditional 8 heads high measurement, eventually it'll become second nature and you'll always make your heads the correct size. Practice away, sir.
Holy craw wow!!
I love your studies and doodles exploring dynamics.
Scetchbook: View the exhibitionist's stuff.
Some very insipiring stuff here man, love all of it!
Hope I can draw like that someday
I was going through your stuff again and I saw some points you can improve on. Pay more attention at the joints of your figures. In some drawings the attachment of certain body parts looks slightly off. Be more careful with the width of the shoulders. You seem to make the clavicles way to short. Take a better look at the skeletal structure and the proportions in this area to eliminate this problem. Hope this helps. Keep up those great studies!
purplegoat: thanks glad to be helpful
Kungfoowiz: 27 oh ok hehe. and dont worry buses are the same here they bounce around all the way, but I get to the point in which I kinda synchronize with the bus (XD yeah I know sounds mad) and I feel when the little intervals between bounce and bounce, and that's when I lay down some lines. However, I'm drawing even when it's bouncing, how's that? well drawing starts in the brain, so I'm "drawing" in my mind constantly.
Eddieee: thank you so much, haha I'd like to paint but I havent even studied values
qlotzan: woah thanks
hummel1dane: Robert Beverly Hale he's THE MASTER I've watched 3 of his lectures so far.
aarynelle: proportions issues thats my curse XD, kinda hard check proportions while on the bus but anyway practice practice practice (H)
zaorr: hehe thanks
Rhysmancometh: thank you
Suncut: glad to hear that!
Traveler: haha looks like most of people like them more than my anatomy studies XD
fantasyartist: thanks man, yeah I know I gotta recognized that what you say it's true, I studied the skeletal structure a while back, but looks like I forgot it, time to retake.
Great figure studies having in mind that is really difficult to draw a person real time when there is movement. I think on some of those that the outlines are hard and tend to flatten the sketch. Keep up!

Nice angles and anatomy.
Note to self - Do not try to invade your house.
Art so far SketchBook
Jonathan C: haha thanks there are no secrets on this SB
Lii-chan: that's true
Marian Rowling: hey thank you
knut-: haha yeah but on the bus is kinda hard to draw lines with the wanted softness
Post 26, you really love anatomy =). Over the one year you improved so much in it! I am very impressed and happy you find what you love to draw. On the other hand, I would really love to see some finished artworks from you, and see how much this whole knowledge comes out.
Oh, and I love your anatomy studies
Klaus Reinbach III: hhaha finished artworks that's gonna have to wait a bit
Kungfoowiz: hey thanks man
