Coffee when you're crazy, whiskey (and egg?) when you're overly productive and Chinese rice wine when you are studying... I really like your way
Last post is great, you started with darks first? just curious.
Really nice work here. I like the Halloween image, nice and different pumpkin face. Also some nice still life studies, great color work, but the perspective seems a bit off, the bottom ellipse in the last one should be a bit more circular I think.
Great studies B-Man Your still lifes rock, they seem to be your forte, who do you freelance for?
(I'm wanting to start building a freelance client base (I have 2 promising ones so far)...got any tips?)
Awesome studies man!!! Keep it up and you'll be up there with Jana in no time!
One small crit, I can't help but think that some strokes (mostly on the ribbon highlights) are a little pixellated looking.. maybe a little more work with a larger brush would improve that?...
Great job on the pumpkin head and the assorted characters though!
witcrack - Yeah, have you never had whiskey and egg?... Me neither. I started working on the egg but it was way to boring so I poured myself I nice glass of Single Malt.
Ye I started with darks The "background" and then It's easier to tie the object in to the enviroment.
jskotte - Yeah, your right about the elipse but I dont want to spend too much time on these studies. Thanks.
Ricardo Robles - About the dark backgrounds, I have monitor trouble but I have fixed it. I have spent a kinda big sum of money on a monitor with a VA panel that is made for image handeling. I'm gonna stomp the shit out of my old monitor or donate it to a kid that plays alot of Games (Thats what its for). Thanks mate!
Angel Intheuk -Thanks. I work in movies at the moment. I do story board and scen concepts. I work with a swedish Director. Also I have a Dreamworks gig that might take air soon. Thanks to the work I done for this project I do now.
The only advise I can give is put yourself out there join alot of forums and show your stuff too people. Be agressive, In a good way. Believe in your work and be humble. Direct your portfolio to the kind of scene you want to work in. Good luck.
raminafshari - Thanks man!
kingkostas - you know I will. I'm gonna work like a madman and become awesome like you. Then we might work together on a next-gen game someday.
MacTire - Ahhh, Jana. Damn shes good. I WUV HER WERK. I think you put the your finger on the main problem. I get boored and lose intrest in the ribbon and move on too soon. I should maybe put more time into my studies but I just dont. Thanks man Im gonna try and be better.
I have had a talk with the director of the move I'm working on and I'm not allowed to show anything untill the movie is out which could be late summer 2011. . Here is some more from life. Gonna post some nudes soon. SO stay tuned dudettes and dudes.
Looking at your artwork makes me want to really learn to improve my digital painting skills! This stuff is amazing! Kudos! Such a great style. I was really drawn by your ability to stretch an expression even on a realistic piece. Simply wonderful.
still lives looking quite good, any possibility of seeing larger one that takes 2-3 sessions to complete? that would be im feeling quite nice picture in the end (and serious study)

Rebecka - Thanks Becka, You guys are to nice.
So I have been productive. I did studies of Pictures I got with ImagineFX.
I think I'm gonna kepp painting on the more rendered one and make a piece of it. Enjöy!
incredible rendering of the fruits! great sketching of the lady too. This all PS or some Painter?
I wouldn't mind a loose environment though instead of pure white against the lady rendering though.
My god, those nudes! I really like the rendering especially. You rock!
Keep it up, you!

Great drawings, your foreshortening is spot on.
Hey pal, good to see these tight rendering from you. Last one is really nice, everything feels very well described so far in an interesting pose...plant a few more of those hard edges you have in the lips and nose here and there if you need to. It would be neat to suggest 'something' for the ground plane, even a subtle suggestion of a material etc.
Love your work B-Man, such a great inspiration to me
