Just stopped by to tell you this: keep rockin' your style.
Personally, I don't like sexually-charged subject matter much, but with your stuff, I don't really mind that. In fact, I like how you capitalize on your subjects' (especially your women) flaws and gruesome qualities instead of trying to make them flawless.
As you let your style grow, remember to keep that sense of honesty in your work. I think that's why people like your style so much, including myself.
Seeing great amounts of improvement,
some of your pencil work lines seem way to dark,
do you adjust levels after scanning??
because some of the overly dark lines distort your work a bit
the digital painting stuff like some of the recent studies are amazing
in all seriousness!!!!!!
Thank you so much for the update on the devil girl. I can see she's in good hands. I can also see your confidence growing with forms, especially in the weapons and the still. Makes me think I should be trying hard to learn how to render metal properly as you do it so well.
Not just shiney new metal, but nicked and worn and put through a few people's skulls. The expressions on some of your women are great, full of attitude, although their lines still don't support them in some places. In the breasts, of course, but elsewhere...more study needed.
Excellent breasts in sketches 11. It made me laugh.
Thank you for the much needed indirect Kick-in-the-ass. The last few weeks I have gotten a lot of compliments from friends, family and colleagues about my drawing, making me sort of lazy. I knew for myself, a lot of my stuff is "ok", but there are tons of other people who are miles above me, so there's still room for improvement, but I was thinking the last couple of weeks, forget the studies, just draw. But your right, why settle for just good. Thanks again and I will stay in contact and if you are ever in Germany, the beer is on me.
wow...i liked your perspective figure study....color composition in that night environment character looks impressive. want to see more...
all I can say is wow!! nice update old chap, I am sitting here being impressed with the sun out drinking some of "stella artois" Cidre, try it its not bad and a bit more summery some how.
anyway what I meant about exteme maximillan armour was this style of stuff
the extra ridges and spikes are similar to the stuff you draw mate.
all the very best as usual and I hope Yugoslavia is as nice and warm as it is here, as its an excuse for more beer!!

Those weapons are looking really nice! Very polished and some great texture.
HI there My mate
thanks for the SB visit buddy your views are always welcome....................... but you have amazed me with a statement. That statement was "four beers are enough for me!" well 4 might be enough for me if they were like the ones these guys have at lunchtime !!
all the very best to you as usual my mate and cheers!

I like the doomed marine - he looks doomed.
Lightship - I want one of those glasses filled with fruity red wine.
Nice update, I'm sorry be away from CA these days because the hard 3d modelling
assessment in the college, I finish but not in the right way my teacher say to me
good to try but you need more studies to make the modelling process easy for you.
I like the weapons of your design and the light study in artwork the guy with torch.
lovely zombie artwork and strong study in the doodles artwork I guess you spent
a real nice time when you've done all those studies.
keep it up my friend.

A good advice that was given to me recently was this: sculpt (or draw in this case) from the inside-out. This means you need to start making underdrawings of a basic skeletal structure and then work your through to draw the outside forms. By doing this, you are going to make your figures and creatures look much more believable. I can see that you've been working on planar forms bit by bit even though you don't like doing structural drawings, but you need to push towards the edge of your comfort zone. Maybe you can leverage yourself by making some blocky sadistic cyborg where their skeleton is showing underneath (and yes, you can make it sexy).
'Ello my brother!
Thanks for the funny pic and elbow to the ribs over my way!
I'm much in the same place regarding what you said about posting here. I started realizing how much time I was spending on CA...and although I learn so much and appreciate all the good feedback and inspiration...I was neglecting getting a lot of other work done.
But hopefully can post some recent work soon!
I agree that your Wacom is really aiding your digital work...like Doom Marine. The gray scale portraits (paint-overs?) of the Zombie/woman look scary cool.
The older ganny below them looks very good...w/ great lighting. I loved the lNecro5 and doom demon...I always thought your color choices...usually leaning towards the soft "cools" are very tasty!
The weapons in #1967 are very cool...love the glow on the last one...really lifts it off the screen!
Digging the designs here.
Ok...so I don't spoil yer ass too much:
Keep working on anatomy...I know I need too all the time.
Even for your sketches...use references...because sometimes we go to the same habits...and our growth slows. Again...it's advice I REALLY need myself!
I like your clean sketch-work...but keep practicing value too like you did in this one.
So now you have felt the Jephyr sting...so get to work or I shall taunt you a second time!!
Ciao my friend...keep up the good work and spirit!
No updates are pointless sir! I see the amount of hardwork you are putting into these. It is inspiring and motivating. You sir are improving step by step. Dont stop, dont give up!
The doom marine looks badass. I think it would help a lot if you put smaller details like decals, bevels, scratches etc on the armor. and give him more accecories like utility belt or something like that XD
The sketches are looking good. Hoping to see more figure studies. It will help a lot if you know all the muscles on the body. Hoping to see more of muscle studies too. These things can get annoying at times but it does pay .
Great colors and textures on the weapons. My only complain would be the edges are very sharp and the textures lack a volume, which makes them look more like cutouts. I have to say that double sword is my favorite. Looks like a badass weapon to have. haha
Alright sir. More updates!
sense of purpose
Zombie painting is kickass, other study is awesome too. I think for this big step forward you can give yourself box of beer, it's summer and you're working hard. Haha nice mad music and video, reminds me friday is comming...
I simply can't ignore the guiltyness feelings anymore. I looked at your updates several days ago (except the very last one) but I often find no words when looking stuff in SBs. I don't know why.
Now it's even harder because the purple cacodemon shut down my brain. Peaceful, my ass. We know true evil come in cute form (not necessarily cute to my liking).
I dig the smiling women faces in the last one. I can't explain, it's some nice style you distilled by long work.
I feel a lil bit creative with English now, I hope I didn't write something extremely foolish. I drank beer. A half of it! It took some hours. I'm not in my top form though I'm a slow drinker by default.
Btw Ever tried your hands at writing? If you have not, please do so. Your writing is entertaining to say the least. I would read what you write in a heartbeat. XP

Hey Snake, you are keeping all your fans waiting!
I'm sure it will be worth it though.
Wow...excellent stuffs!! I liked your portrait studies....really nice color mixing. The dynamic poses you made for those warrior girls are really tricky and you did a good job too. Well done friend... wish to see more of them. Ill return soon
Thank you for the moral boost and kind words, undeserving i am but
happy to receive them non the less. i see you haven't posted any artwork in awhile,
like myself, no pressure, its so easy to be caught up in the tidal wave of posts and
often feeling left out and have the fear of degression depresses oneself, i say F that.
its to easy to forget that "art" so called ( as a lack for a better word), is truly
a life long journey . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Thank you for the motivation come-back comment you left in my sketchbook.
I was cleaning up my email and once i came to concept art, that comment of yours gave me the extra boost i needed to post something.
Just thought you may like to know I have finished my blog post on your sketchbook. Here is the link http://www.artfreck.com/wp/art-revie...ook-ltplissken
Thanks for allowing me to blog about you. Your work is awesome. Keep it up.
My beautiful friend is first on the scene, I so much
appreciate that, makes my heart to beat faster. Me being
productive, that is not really true and we could discuss about
that more, but if you think that way, then I feel very delighted.
Doom Marine; it was a painting from imagination, non referenced,
lots of things looks wrong and they are not even close to realistic, but
what da heck, it was pretty interesting to do it as a relaxation exercise,
and I would sell the painting for two beers. Was focusing on drawing
legs lately, cause I realized that itís out of my comfort zone. Whenever
I did a character and when I got to the legs and feet, I got so uncertain.
I hope that I covered that area a bit better now. Plus I am very glad
that you like the new weapon designs, they are my concepts and I
tried to do a better job on the textures and on the shapes. Well,
there are still things that could be improved, but itís definitely not
game over yet. Thank you for visiting all the time and being
a true friend lately, it means much to me and you know that.
Hello, I am happy that you like the Zombie female,
she is feeling dizzy and hot at the same time in the moment
when the picture was took. Drinking beer is something
that keeps us all motivated and resurrected.
Thank you for the visit, hope you will stay
a bit longer so we could exchange our
I really do not like when the bottle is empty.
Thatís my honest opinion. I have tried a few
times a trick of returning the bottles to the
corner store and accusing them
that they gave them to me empty.
The trick never worked. Is there
a shortcut for that solution? Is there an easier way?
I do not like every type of liquor of course, just a special
ones, on a special temperature and under extreme serving
conditions. Thatís how complicated I am. Brushing teeth,
washing hair and cleaning feet are a very brutal and boring
actions, but we have to do it every day, otherwise we will
not be accepted socially. I like the speed, but when sheís
bottom part is narrow and hot enough. I am only a
Lieutenant, but maybe someday captain? Uh
maybe that would be better but it does not
sounds so good. I like every bit of poem
you wrote, thank you once more
for the visit and for the beautiful
I am happy that you like the Zombified female
and the old woman, actually that old woman is
a part of some short chainsaw story, which
you will see pretty soon. Thank you very much for
replying and for showing attention.
Hey my dear friend, long time not seen you,
you know the things just as always, Iíve been worrying
and thinking a lot about you while you were away.
I know lot of them do not like the sexual stuff and the stupid
jokes that I try to execute, but thatís what makes art fun for me,
if I would take away the females and the porn essence from drawing,
and would do only still lives and all that, trust me I am almost
hundred percent sure that I would never touch a pencil or pen again.
But I am so happy that you tolerate me and my creations, and
that you think that I am honest here, cause I truly am. I thought
that this place is the only place where I would not withheld what
I feel and think. Well at least most of the time. Have no true
words to describe the feeling the happiness that Iím going
through when I see your kind words in my sketchbook.
After scanning I am increasing the contrast
and the brightness of my drawings, plus I am
using a one more multiplied layer on 45 percent
of the same page. Maybe I should go down a bit
with the contrast, I thought that like this is fine,
but I will try to go a bit lighter with the next occasion,
thank you for noticing and for the tip. I am happy
that you visited and that you left a reply, you
are a true friend, thank you.
Thank you for letting me work on that painting and idea
of yours, hope you like it this far. Our understanding and
knowledge of forms is rising as we train more and more.
I will try to evolve more and to increase the female breast
size anatomy, and will try to bring my visions even in a more
believable fashion. You are always welcome here and your kind
words makes me feel very good and motivated, thank you.
I was patient for a month, staying away from updates,
and then all that I gathered put up at once, I am a nasty
nasty being. Hope you like some of them, thank you for
the support and for coming here on a regular basis.
Hardly can wait to visit Germany, cause you said that
you will buy a beer. We could hang out a bit, draw and
have some fun time, thank you for the invitation and for
the friendly words. I am very glad to visit your sketchbook,
cause you are a very kind person.
Thank you my dear friend, your appearance
and words makes the sun shine brighter for me.
Letís drink some Stella Artois, I totally agree with
that idea. But I think that the Cidre variation has some
small amount of alcohol in it, so I would prefer the full powered
version. Yugoslavia is a pretty happy place, and I hope that you
will visit me someday in this wonderland. Thank you for
the cheerup mate.
Happy that you like them, thank you very
much for the visit and for the support.
That female zombie portrait is a screencap overpaint,
not really a masterpiece, but it has itís spirit, hidden
somewhere. Thank you for traveling along with me.
Nasty nasty huge glasses. Full of beer. I would
like one. 4 is enough for real, my conditioning is not so good lately.
Thanks for the motivational picture.
He is a doomed soul, forced to be a marine, and his
paycheck is never to arrive. His family is hungry
down on Earth. Thank you for the visit.
Itís good to hear about your 3D assessment in
college, you just listen to the teacher, but if he
tries to behave bad, then you just punish him
roughly. No mercy for him, cause he has to show
some respect toward you. I am glad that you like
my usual everyday studies, they are nothing special,
but just as you said, I had a very great time doing them,
and that is the most important, to have fun while we
are painting and drawing. Cheers my friend, thanks
for the long time support and help.
One more visit from you my dear, you made my
every day twice more brighter. Your advice came
to me as a rain to the desert, I will sculpt from the
inside out, and I will try to ride the wind. Stepping out
from my comfort zone is what I will try to do in the future,
and the blocky sadistic cyborg idea is fantastic. A sadistic
cyborg preparing to molest a young innocent girl in
various positions and versions. I like you so much, thanks
Eyí brother, whatís up, I definitely want to thank you for this very detailed
review of my latest work. Your kind words and praises makes me to believe
that I am so good and doing so nice, yes you are spoiling me. I have to go
military now, I have to turn my thoughts toward bad things, I need to
work more and more harder, and then when everything will look hopeless
and there would be no sunshine cause of the murky clouds, then I will
realize that I have improved. You did motivated me to update, I know
this was just too much, maybe the longest that I did not updated, but
there are no excuses, I became a bit relaxed. Who knows why is this
all good for? Maybe somewhere down on our rocky road, we will became
the persons that we always wanted to be.
Thank you for the attention, your time and thanks for everything that
you did to help me improve and to raise my work quality.
I will not give up, I will do everything to stay motivated and to
be prepared all the time. This is like a quest, an art quest, a road
which I have to walk no matter how strong the storm becomes. But kind
people like you and like our other friends here, are keeping me powered
and bulletproof. A very clean and nice environment we have all created
together. I appreciate your short review of some of my paintings
above, the Doom marine looks pretty much unfinished, and definitely
could be more worked on. Anatomy and muscles studies was and will
always be inevitable. The weapons are hundred percent my
concepts, started from pencil, finished in Photoshop, and you
are right, the textures could be blended in, much more prettier.
Thank you for all this, for the things that you wrote and did
to help me out.
The zombie female painting is a paintover of some
movie screen cap. I modified her a bit toward my needs,
and I am happy that you fancy it. For this big step,
I am drinking a big big box of beer, thank you very
much for everything. So letís open the bottle...
Purple peaceful cacodemon is really peaceful now, no doubt about that fact.
They figured out how to tame all those hellish creatures and to cultivate, civilize them,
they are all living amongst the humans down on earth. Some of them even
got employed, and their serving the country and humanity in quality fashion.
Ah, who thought that it will be like this in the end, everyone happy and satisfied.
I am so positive surprised about the fact that you drank beer. I am imagining
the scene while you do it, and it must be erotic and fantastic. Some things
are good to be done slow, and drinking is also amongst those things.
You changed my state of mind, with a single finger snap, you
are just as I said something special, and honored are the
people who surrounds you.
Well, honestly I havenít thought about that possibility
and option, however I have to tell you that my English has
significantly improved over these three years that I spent
in this beautiful community. I am happy and my self
confidence has just been risen a few notches as
I read your praises. Thank you.
That is one of the greatest and most fantastic motivationl
combination to me. Itís effective and funny. I assume itís your
cat? Looks very very cute, but watch out, I believe it can turn
into a nasty monster at full moon. And at any cause, you donít,
you never give him to drink alcohol, especially not beer.
I am so happy about this occasion, big greetings to the cat
and to you also, thank you.
Hello and welcome, thank you for the kind words,
updates below, I feel kinda uncomfortable cause
of the long delay.
I am not sure how much will all this be worth of your waiting,
easily can be a bit of disappointment, you judge for yourself.
Sometimes I feel ashamed of showing up after so much time being off.
Either way, thank you very much for replying and for keeping
My dear, I am very happy that you like some of the craziness
above, and I hope that I will not disappoint you with these
updates below. You were always a good friend made out of
pure gold, one cannot ask for anything better in this life.
Please stay tuned, donít go too far, I hope that I will post
more often in the future and will try to follow your work also.
Thank you for being here all the time since our old days.
I think itís time now, time to update.
Thank you for the reminder and the time
you invested to visit my drawings and paintings.
Art is for all life long, you said it very good,
and no need for the hurry with the updates, but
I delayed it a bit too much this time. The most
important is for us to not give up. Thank
you for visiting, I will also try to follow
your work as often as I can.
I am really looking for to see those breasts
in your book, will be visiting each and every
day, waiting for the surprise. I did not used
Blender for the textures, I just put them on
another layer in Photoshop and I change the
opacity of it if needed. Actually I am not sure
what is Blender. Thank you for
appearing here and thank you for the support.
Man, I almost forgot about you, but now I followed
your old sketchbook link and realized who you are.
I really thought that you disappeared and that you
do no more art, but today itís a very good surprise
to know that you are here and that you are full power.
The updates, finally below, nothing special tho.
Thank you for boosting my confidence.
I am very glad that I did something positive.
Your comeback is huge and it will make a big
difference in your future life and art career.
Happy to se your new drawings, and to feel your
presence once again my dear.
My friend, I cannot describe how happy I am because of
all this. Thank you very much, I will share the link to your
art blog once more below.
You gave the final motivation for me to update, I cannot be like this,
I will post what I got, thank you for the kind words and for changing
the outcome of my delayed absence.
First of all, I want to thank you all for taking the time to come here
and to view my drawings, and second I want to share a link to the blog
of my friend Phoenicorn, who have built up a phenomenal art blog,
and included my sketchbook review there. I want to thank him,
for everything what he wrote and what he did to promote my work.
Various thoughts and high volume of empty rant below,
please read only in extreme boredom state, otherwise will
waste your precious time, be it day or night.
This update was hard to come by, never to happen, I should think of some excuse,
but actually there is no real excuse. If you go back and monitor a bit longer my update
pattern, you will realize that summertime is when I get the most sluggish,
drawings come real seldom especially in the months of June and July.
There is this nearby lake where I go to swim almost every afternoon, itís a must,
cause swimming is one of the very first and important things that I love to do in life,
and when the weather is hot, it would be a real shame, not to take advantage of our
beautiful environment. Thereís also a lot of beer on the beach and in the evening it repeats,
itís something inevitable in my summertime career. I have a full time job, non art
related, which is a story for itself. In scenarios like this one is, there is a very few atoms
of energy left for doing any kind of art, be it drawing or painting, I hope you understand
the situation. When the day is over, when I feel relatively tired, want to relax a bit, I like to
browse mindlessly on the internet, and the most important I like to browse through
sketchbooks on conceptart. That just makes me feel even more relaxed and satisfied.
There is time when I manage to pull out some motivation for a reply or two,
but many times I just drift through the waves of true colored dreams, and act nothing.
Many many new sketchbooks and promising work, I like to see how the sport
of conceptart is growing. There are so many talented people out there, young fellows,
I like to see their motivation and willpower growing. A true majestic experience, something
that can really rejuvenate an honest persons heart. Whenever feeling down, buried
in murky thoughts, sinking in the trenches, but observing the evolution
of someone elseís art makes me rise above mental oppression. Puts me almost between clouds,
spinning me in the right way around. The conceptart community is expanding its borders,
getting stronger and only the sky is the limit for the creators and for all the contributors.
A huge ship of victory is what this is, so please everyone who have the opportunity,
get aboard, right now.
June 2012; I totally forgot about my 3rd year anniversary on conceptart.org,
but now itís time to celebrate, even if itís a bit late.
To have a few words about my time spent here, I have to say
that my general experience is absolutely fantastic, many good times, a lot of positive people
around, met a lot of creative persons here, quality and unique people. There are absolutely no
other places where you could possibly meat such a fantastic environment like in this community.
Letís take in consideration some other internet communities, boards and forums, there are
about politics, religion, economy, cars, sex or whatever, or letís look at youtube. There are
these people who are slaughtering each other with verbal barrages each and every day.
Lots of filth, anger and greed everywhere. But not here. Not on conceptart.org, cause this
place is pure as clear water, calm and peaceful as the safest regenerated hidden abbey.
The administrators are doing a very good job about everything
and that is why this place is like a sanctuary to us, something that creates a parallel dimension,
which is much better than reality itself. My soul travels like a thoughtless, burden free seagull over
a bright blue sea. So these last three years, from June 2009 till today I spent a really quality
time here with quality people thanks to you friends. Thanks for the support and for being
here all the time, bad times or good times, you were always here to help me out and
to help me improve. There is no money or gold on this world which could pay
this school that I went through, a school of becoming a better person and better artist.
And the best part is that the journey is not over yet, we have just begun, we will
improve even more and we will evolve even more. We will get to another, higher level.
Future is ahead of us, great and bright future, as I always use to say, we just need to
think positive. So everyone reading this (I hope there are at least three persons), open
yourself a drink and letís celebrate my 3rd year of bliss. Cheers.
Pencil drawings, sketches, everyday studies, itís not much, just a
regular drill, something that I do to stay in shape and to stay motivated. I am not
sure how much improvement is visible down below, you will judge for yourself.
I guess Itís impossible to improve all the time. Sometimes we have to fall down, so
we could have the opportunity to learn, how to get back up. No excuses, I did not
worked much as I could, I wasted some of my days to enjoy a bit in reality, and
neglected some of my fantasies. Honestly hope that we will push the pace up
a bit more in the future, especially at wintertime by the fire.
