Just starting up a sketchbook, since I've been trying to get better at this, and I've also been trying to enter more weekly stuff here at ca.org.
I'm a sucker for portraits, and although CHOW is good at forcing me to break that habit, I indulge from time to time. D:
Here's something quick I did on a break between fixing my scanner and some other work. Still practicing with painter and the tablet. Sorry for the large size for just a sketch, I usually start files really large when I start. x_x
Good start for your sketchbook!
keep it up -Omerta
sketchbook updated October 6th
Just a small thing I did for fun, I'm trying to do a sketch per day... Anyways, I need to move out of my comfort zones, and actually PRACTICE more, instead of fun little things. Still, I liked it. xD
Going to try keeping this up to date, as I'm finally getting more time to do art.
Here's a quick piece I did for my GF for Valentine's... pencil, pen, and a red Sharpie.
I'm trying to get a decent portfolio together for the scholarships taking place currently, so expect more soon!
lol @CarsHobby4RC. Thanks for the random pic dude.
Thanks for the tip knoxie, I'm really going into overdrive right now.
Anyways, still working on more serious pieces, but over the weekend I was having fun with that same red Sharpie, and had Power Rangers on the mind for a challenge on cghub.com. A more finished piece should be coming soon, but this IS my sketchbook. :3
This was done to get more portfolio material, something a little more finished. I'm still not very confident with my digital painting/rendering, so I stayed in my comfort zones in terms of content.. <_<
draw more analogue,it' helps,
Had lots of spare time to sketch today, with the trusty old pencil and pen.
Quality is a little low, was giving the picture to a friend, and had to settle for a picture of it.
Megaman fan art done for my portfolio (and a wallpaper).
