Took about 45 minutes. I would like to clean it up some more but I have to get started on homework.
This could be fun...
Of course he's smiling.
Mr. Smile has a date tonight.

@ Goran: Very nice - cartoony but dark at the same time.
@ monotony: Liking that horror a lot. Good feeling of blubbery, mutating flesh.
@ Mitze: Good colour and texture - but could do with a bit more work...
Spent just about 1 1/2 hours on this.

About an hour and 15 mins.
Maybe an hour. Trying to learn oils in Painter.
Maybe 40 minutes or so...
Great job everyone; awesome interpretations!
an hour... ^^;
30 mins before homework
funny, how a very bright and happy theme brings out so many gruesome and creepy entries. haha
but good work everyone, keep 'em coming.
Wow some really good and some disturbing work here!
Gonna give it a try.... sketchy style....
30 min painter.
Parcel.sister, great draw! i love it
2 hours and a bit, i'm going to come back to this one.
I did another one just to be less gloomy.
The whole idea is a friendly greeting can change your mood.

firstly, a breif introduction of the smiler.
a failed experiment by the st perersburg circus, this jolly fellow was to be the main attraction. unfortunatly the smiler never got the spotlight it deserved, yet still (and to the protest of the circus master) the smiler insists on greeting the audiance with a friendly thumbs up before every performance.
A shiny new 21UX arrived at my doorsteps today
This is my first time submitting to the daily sketch group and I hope to be a regular around here so I'm gonna try hard.
This took me over an hour and a half. I thought it would be funny to show a dysfunctional family trying to have their family portrait taken, and the only one smiling is the baby.
Originally, I wanted something more grotesque. However, I thought I could say more with something more subtle. Sadly, it didn't turn out as creepy as I'd have liked. Too much blank space in the lower left-hand corner.
