You have a very interesting style going on here, the more studies
you make the more your personal style shinnes man!!, the best thing
I could say rigth now is that it could be a good idea that you make
less detailed studies in exchange of doing lots of drawings, just to
memorize attach points for muscles and proporcion measuremts for bones,
try to make some stuides were the abstract part of brain works more, read
the anatomy books you have and dont draw right off, instead visualice
in you head the things you read about, this IMO its helping me to get
a better grasp on anatomy as of late, its more work for the brain,
but the pay off is better as well
Thats all (dunno if Im right mybe Im just crazy he he )
keep the drawing up, your thread is a great inspiration for me!!!
Where's the updates man!?
Allright. Hereīs a page for you, Milkytiger! ;D Moved back to a4 again. about a year since last time.
Iīll post more in two weeks time. Then, I will try out what you said Maxetormer.
Later bater, alligator
what the crap! massive improvements since the start of this thread!! wow, it's pretty inspiring. I really like the last piece, you are getting more confident with contrast, however the white line around the woman puts me off just a little. Great non the less! I love how you did the hair
N & B
The improvement you've made is insane!! I'm really diggin this stuff, it's pretty inspiring too. It gives me hope!
Thanks guys. I really appreciate it
The torsoe on the firts page is based on a drawing by stiocray. Everything on the third page is from life.
I don't think there will be any more updates too soon. Physically, I feel like shit; my arms hurts from this strain injury, wich makes it pretty hard to concentrate on drawing.
Okay...Originally, I had planned to abandon this place for a cuple of weeks, draw alot and impress everyone when I return with my new, sprawling, shiny and divine scetches of godly progression and all that... Well, fuck that. I think I'll just post here regulary, regardless of how crappy it is. or mabye I won't???
Anyway, here is a CD cover I'm working on. I don't have the original drawing anymore, wich sucks; I'd love to fix that ear. Overally, I'm not too satisfied with the drawing...it's scewed all over the place and the nose...doesn't look like a nose...mabye I should just shut up and draw it all over again hehe.
Fuck man.. You'r just starting to grov bigger and bigger. The anatomy is comming along great, and the rendering as well. But I guess u already knew that.
The yellow CD cover is, I think, one of the better ones u'v done. It's not that important if the ear is a bit goofy or the nose, what ever. It gives the painting some great character. Love the hair, btw, it reminds me abit of HPX characters.
These are great...the king of yellow one is really cool, reminds me of HPX's work. I see that you got the anatomy of the figure down pretty well, I still need to work on that.
This shit is hot! Hot i say!
Good looking studies you've got here, love the shadowtechnic, and the anatomy is really good.
Not muck of a crit, but just gotta say it looks good. keep postin' man!
really solid stuff as usual here, do you have any plan for what you draw as studies? i mean are you working through a book, working on certain parts of the body or just enjoy drawing torsos and are working outward? I ask because you seem to focus on torsos whereas i tend to stick with faces when i just sit down to draw just wondering if you do the same thing.
as for progress, i'm not sure you need any help there, the rendered drawings look great, my only comment would be that your necks seem to be pretty short and thick, which works for the buff guys but the slender ladies could maybe use a more slim feminine neck. oh, and how about some full bodies, the amputees are freaking me out :-p
aan: thanx. hehe, I guess I had him in mind when scetching for that cover..
Nifelfang: Thanx man
Ni* : hm..I really just want to work out a decent method for drawing the human body. I guess I keep drawing the torsoe, since it's the center in wich everything connects. Thanx for the comments on the necks. And as for more fullbody drawings...thanks for busting the coward in me hehe. I'm sort of working on it.
Frank the Ninja: Hey, glad you like
here is most of the stuff i have been working on lately..
No ref. exept from the "ectoplasm boy" and the hand...bad scan...sorry...
I feel bad for posting this now, after reading the announcement. I have been ill for a while and i'm allergic to summer air, so I haven't been as productive as I have wanted. I have done alot of quick stuff, though, wich turns out to be alot of fun. It's good for warming up - both in confidence and enthusiasm.
Hmm...I think I might have said something in the likes of fullbody studies and such...I think I'll post something when I have accomplished something in that direction.
great stuff , really nice .. you're a very hard working guy
goddamn i keep thinking i've posted in threads when i haven't, i was certain i'd replied in here before... oh well.
killer stuff man, the progression is really evident, this last page especially kicks the ass! keep it up friend

Not quite there yet, but it certanly feels like a step closer...
no ref and all that...been looking alot of loono and rusty's stuff tho..
cato and kaoki: thanks guys!!
Farvus: Thanks! I'm glad you like my stuff.
I'm going to try to keep this a dayly again, so expect to se alot of crap. I haven't been drawing for a while
I did the first page yesterday. The rest is old.
Here is what I did yesterday()
This is a sad attempt at getting a general look of the full figure. No hands, no feet, way too big legs (that looks like badly attatched plastic prostethics) and bad proportions. He is so stiff that a small gust of wind would tip him over. Heh, I could go on forever...Hopefully, the embarrasment of posting it here will motivate me to make better attempts.
honestly, man.. I think your starting to figure the anatomy out by now. Start focusing more on the imaginative stuff, lines and shadows now i'd say. The perfect anatomy and dynamic movment will come as you draw. Drawing is'nt suppose to be a burdon where u have to study and study and study, study u do at school.
Get inspiration from some other artist and flip out and do somthing wacked with the knowledge of yours. The rest will come as you draw.
btw. Awsome stuff. ^^
hey man... i lik eto see that you are working hard on the anatomy....man i should do that too. but i am always too lazy and only want to draw fun shit!
but your are going the right way and your drawings are feeling good man...keep it on!
Thanx man. I do some imaginative stuff (often too crude to be posted here), but yeah, you're right, I could focus a little more towards finnished pieces. About the studying...I guess i'm afraid of my own work. I allways have to get better, and when I think of all the things I 'have to accomplish', it somehow becomes a burden, mabye something I 'have to do' before the fun can start again. At the other hand, I'm havig ALOT of fun with making and arranging music (I play the guitar), so that may get in the way as well
Howdy. Took a quick peek at your thread. I like to see that you are getting the general figure gesture down....man, I should do that too, but I'm allways lazy and only want to draw the fun shit.
this is amazing , i really love the progression and you have a great imagination the work is full of life
Holy crap, youíre stuff is incredible!! Iím looking at your very first arm pic, and then see your new anatomy studies and the improvement is just amazing!! Totally blew me away. Wasnít prepared for it
Canít wait to see more
i just took the time to look through your SB again from the start, it's a drip of sweet honey inspiration. I agree with what has been said about you doing some imaginative works, your anatomy knowledge is coming along nicely so you could apply that to more dynamic poses. Sometimes i sketch from fencing photos, the bodies are all over the place in those, in fact i challenge you to do an anatomy style drawing of a fencer in an action pose!
you suggested i start a DSB a few months back and i had the excuse of being busy, but now i've got at least 2 full weeks of free time to develope a habit of it, and a new A3 pad i got for free, surely it's a sign :-p thanks for the inspiration.
