thx meticolor, yea i usually put the most detail into the eyes, i kind of lose focus sometimes on other parts. i used to only draw one eye for some reason, like it was frozen in half finished-ness.
Jesus Food you capture the acts of war very well and I enjoy the sometimes everyday life you display as well. I especially like the way you shade. As I look throw I see how you make your drawings pop out even more with colors. It's very amazing seeing how you come along. I'm not sure if you already had this ability, but it was nice to see.
May I ask what your dream is?
Keep them coming dude, they're awesome. The action scenes especially.
Hey Jesus Food, thanks for visiting my SB. You've got a great one going here. Love your war series, they're not just sketches, they tell stories. Loved your batman and joker sketch. Like your loose approach to a lot of your work, as you said, some stuff looks better unfinished. Also like the facial expressions you get. Nice work.
Please check my SB and crit, I need help.
Hi, thanks for commenting on my SB. I really like your figures, they have character. Your sketch of Bubbles made me smile.
Thanks for the comment on SBK. I like your sketches you got going on here. Some times it feels a little too much like you directly copied off your reference, but I like the gestural look you got going on. Throw down some color tones next time, it really helps with the mood. Keep up the good work.

hey thx guys.. i do comics, but i hope to become more serious about completing them. thats probably why im posting my stuff here
arvelous: thanks, actually thats just a bruce springsteen album. i am working on a dream tho
oneoftwo: actually with 90% of the war stuff i dont use any ref. i know most of the stuff they wear off by heart and well, the backgrounds suffer because i dont use ref. studying everything meticulously is very boring to me
ive been away from my scanner and ive just got this little sketchbook with me, but ill post some stuff even though its not great quality i can always edit later. its like 5x3" so, ya
Really loving your sketches! ^^
I really like the last ones! You are getting better. If you try harder and catch those proportions the deal is done! - g

I enjoyed going through your sb There is a good variation of approach to each piece, and you have a knack for portraying life through your portraits--each person definitely looks like they gotta a lot to their personality. tho the women in your pieces are not as strong and confident in form and technique as you are with the males, keep at it! I love the dancing piece, and the very last portrait
Just came upon your sketch book section. I really dig your work! Great feeling and style. I like how loose and lively your drawings are. You could do some great work on storyboarding or doing a comic book on WWII! Heck your skills are good enough for any era. I just saw more of the WWII material so it looks like you have an interest in that era. Anyways keep it all going! I feel like I have to work even harder after seeing your material.
