Thanks for your comment in my sketchbook. Those block studies in the beginning of your sketchbook are what you mean then you said I should start from scratch. Ill make sure to do that.
Besides that, the concept work with your level of detail and texture is pretty nice. I would like to see a little more depth in your work when it comes to shading and shadows. Good job none the less.
Vatteh: Thanks for the nice comments. One of my problems, I think, is that I rush stuff. I think I'm capable of better than that armored vehicle on the previous page, for example-- I tried to eyeball the perspective in a few places and it didn't work, and in images like that, you can't afford to make any mistakes because the perspective is all they really have.
As for the texture I should probably do less of that but with most of these I will usually try something somewhat different. I'm coming up with a number of uses for textures that I may be able to share sometime.

Hi, nice sb, I think I've never seen yours, I like the machines it's something I don't touch often, I like them, when its good I just love it... maybe is my problem with straight lines and vanishing points - something to be fixed out - what doesn't leave to go into it.
Anyway... Opeth are love, true love so... :p
End well, I'll miss Dio... and now it will be completely impossible to see him life... what a pitty

I sometimes wonder if art is worth bothering with.
For some reason I am in love with the cube at the top of the page :?

If you knew how many cubes I've painted, you would think I was crazy. There is something mesmerizing about them, for some reason. To me, anyway.
