I'm sorry if this has been talked about before. Since the economy sucks hardcore and I can't find a job, I thought maybe I could make a little change drawing or illustrating.
I can draw pretty alright and am confident I can draw most things as long as I have reference. I can't think of something I absolutely can't draw besides giant robots.
My question is can you learn on the job doing freelance work or is that sort of unethical or backwards? Like should I only start to look for jobs when I know am more advanced in all areas (figure, landscape, creatures) and have a style? I personally think that if I can find a job that I can do I should do it and keep learning. What do you think?
