Wow, where to start..
The first pic reminds me a lot of Sorolla, a lot.. and thats great.
I've seen worst things that the three eggs series hangin in the walls of museums of modern art.. I want it, horizontal format, for my living room
Your sketches look beautiful.. I'll try to learn from you to render faces on a more realistical way (or algenpfleger, or DanielC, or openanewworld, or Whitaker.. god, so many..) maybe it would be great if you woud work kind of a thematic sketchbook
and, at last, I really think it would be a great miss if you wouldn't finish that sci-fi piece, looks wonderful so far

The Spaniard's Sketchbook... No holds barred
You're amazing! Great work, keep it up!
Absolutely impressive work. The egg studies alone are worth a good hour of slobbering, and not to mention those other sketches, really juicy. Hope I get a chanse to meet you when Massive Black has their workshop in europe, wherever it turns out to be. Love making new friends^^
Hi, By far one of the most impressive sketchbook i have ever seen on CA for a VERY long time!! Stunning work , very motivating, thanks for sharing !

Janaschi, your sketchbook is a fresh breath of inspiration. Your digital work is very realistic when you want it to be and your sketches are top notch. You have a great understanding of how light works in nature and I think that's one of your strongest qualities and also one of the most important thing in drawing. Would love to see some pencil work taken to the limit and bringing that same knowledge of light which you have to them as you have shown in your digital work.
You have been able to balance studies, life drawing and drawing from imagination and they support your learning curve very well.
Just dropping in to give my support. Nothing to critique, I am sorry.
I've fallen in love with your last still-lifes (the egg series and esp. the bowl with the spoon).
Some minor crits (if i am allowed to criticize such amazing work) would be the base of the olive pot, which in my opinion should be slightly more rounded,
and, in the girl portrait, it looks like her right nostril is somehow lower than her left one.
Anyway, looking at such impressive sketchbook is always a pleasure. Keep it up!
Your still lifes are killer. They amaze me every time. O_O
Your eye+hand is like a dslr camera....but better....
better white balance, better colour sensitivity and better focus! lool
I wish i could have a fraction of your skillz
Anyways keep updating pleeeease..
Blow us all away with more incredible art!
great work It's very hard for me to do digital work, and when i'm crossing through here it make me want to improve my skills. Still i'm not sure what is the good way of painting. A 4..5 work steps of one of your painting it would be very helpfull, if you can find free time for that. Anyway good luck!
:0 First glance at your still life pieces you'd think they're photographs.
So very realistic. I love your digital art they're so amazing, but I somehow prefer your traditional works though
