You have some really cool stuff in here! The casts are brilliant, and those latest thumbnails look great too, interesting compositions.
I'm making my way towards the CA Atelier as well... if you wouldn't mind linking me to your portfolio as well I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, I'm looking forward to seeing where you take those thumbnails.
I cant believe you said your work sucks, and that you have noi idea what your doing ... its blinding work, especially your old man on page two that you made look like a photo ... and your pieces of a face that are 3D ... WOW! Five stars and a Subscribe!
Keep it up please!

cdejong- will do. just have to upload a version that doesn't have my embarrassingly optimistic letter of intent ;P
norris- thanks! i'm not sure if you meant made-with-3d-software, but those face pieces are just graphite. i wish i could do that with 3d software. save me tons of time on environments ;]
No i meant that they look 3D ... they are seriously awesome ... theyre stunning in fact!
Keep it up!
didn't have my stuff to actually partake in tuesday night painting, so i decided to lurk in the underbrush and attempt to capture several untamed beasts undisturbed in their natural habitat. luckily, the booty crooning of r. kelly distracted them so i could get some rare footage.

sweeet update josh! lighting on that is awesome
caco, dished: thanks!
danny boy: as you wish!
austen: there is definitely more pencil work on the way. there's a big surprise coming ;D
here are some color and composition tests. slowly figuring things out. got a looonnnggg fucking way to go. i should probably point out that these guys are angels, not dopey beasts.
more on the way.

Yeah, really great updates, I can't really decide which I like best. I would like to see more tree destruction in this one, http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...1&d=1253385241 more little bits of splintered wood, falling branches and leaves, baby bird eggs, etc. Though you probably already had plans for that, just my 2 cents.
KEEP IT UP, ROCK HARD....

austen: thanks! yeah, i'm definitely going to keep that one and polish it up over the next few weeks. expect mayhem.
thanks, everyone. composition is pretty tough to wrangle in, and i definitely don't get it at all yet. having fun failing at it, though.
speaking of which, this guy is coming for you soon.
cl0aked: some demons are technically just fallen angels, so i figured that my angels would have horns- since its only a matter of time before they become "official" fallen angels. long story thanks!
here's some nearly finished linework. bunch of other stuff on the way.
O.o... now that's cool.
Oooh, I like how the design is coming along. Definitely an improvement. How about adding tattoo-like markings to some of the large, bare areas of the creature, like the shoulders?
