A couple of 1 minute Gestures and 2 x 10 minute sketches.
Blythe I used an 8B pencil on rough paper. I like the grip it has.
Tried a few new techniques with this one:
A Future Marine Trooper, Designed for Harsh off earth Enviroments.
The Suit can with stand extreme tempertures ,Acid rain, toxins and heavy arms fire.
revenebo Lol Thanks man, Love you lots like.......... P
SOme more fast Gestures
Wow, you are awesome. Those gestures have good lines. The future marine is good too~
A quick environment 2 Hours
whoa. (good whoa) I dig your gestures, i feel the motion as well as accurate as possible, and with a sense of light with your light and dark lines, thats what I'm striving for! as for your paintings, definitely awesome, love the textures you put into them. the enviros are great!
clickity click it.
Glad to see you made a sketchthread! Your enviros are breathtaking, got a full folder of them so I can study them, real beauty there. It's also nice seeing something else from you, those gesture have so much power to them, really good stuff. 5 stars from me!
jermonster , DStraX , Braintree , AsaB : Thanks Folks.
A couple more life drawing gestures from yesterday evening
Probably not that successful, but we all have on and off days. Also its been a couple weeks since I had a female model. Hopefully they will start to pull together a bit more over the next few sessions.
SO here we go 1 to 10 min gestures
Also a little bit of a WIP Enviroment I will post the finished version this evening if I am not tired to finish it after work.
Loving the forms that come through the gestures keep up the good work!
Temple of Courage
Too tired to finish it completely this evening.
A little sketchover to show what I am planning to do it with it.

The leviathan of the EOW finally shows his underbelly. I like the way you always sneak in those symbolic white bird flocks of freedom - they help intensify the largeness of scale and just increase the overall beauty of the presentation. Anyways, long live birds and long live this sketchbook.
Keep doing you
Wow that one environment only took 2 hours? That's impressive! Atleast from my perspective. I really like your style keep it up!
The Temple of Courage
Deep in the heart of the Dark Continent is the Temple of courage.
Valiant Knights journey to the temple to prove thier worthiness within its walls. Facing many trials only the most courageous of warriors will survive the temple and cross the bridge to begin thier journey home.
I am not happy with this, but a few things learnt, onwards and upwards as they say.
Vulgar` Leviathan? I dont think so, but thanks.
darknight Practice Practice, I have a long way to go yet.
Thanks for all your comments
Cavern Flight Deck
I had a quiet sunday and I spent an enjoyable day painting this image.
The lighting is a little inspired by The Hudson river school painters who I greatly admire.
Awesome stuff you've got here, even tho i'm a beginner i'll let myself crit one thing (hope u wont hate me for that :] ) The Lion statues are turned too much to the right, to fix that i would turn them more towards viewer, or turn the huge lionface sculpted in the mountain more like you did it with lion statues,
Best wishes, ICE
I like the grimness and contrast of subways stations in different districts of cities.
This is one from a less affluent area.
I tried to play with a theatrical style of lighting and also to try and create movement in a static enviroment.
I painted this over last weekend.
I think the image is abit stale and not a very exciting piece, more an exercise, so I have decided to smash it up a bit and do a paint over, add a monster ripping it apart! WIll post soon.
