Wow, your sketchbook has really transformed over time, it's really impressive. I don't have much to say right now as far as crits, but I can't wait to see more
Good renders: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1256427247
May I suggest: See A. Loomis head construction. Look at the planes he diagrams. Then do the next few portraits analyzing where the planes would go on the particular face/head you're studying. I guarantee your work will jump forward.
HerrleerzeichenS: then come back >
AztcFireFlower: thanks....yeah.. need that
Dy.laneA: thats cool updatteeteet
todays stuff...three tds. im addictet. totally.
is that a fat carman electra????

The clockworksnail Experience- SKETCHBOOK!!!
thanks for stopping by my SB, your digital stuff's getting better. Make sure you watch your structure. Alwayyyys have those solid forms and proportions down no matter how loose your study is gonna be. Keep it up.
clockworksnail: thanks, yeah, its ELEKTRA, in the movie played by jennifer garner....not CARMEN elektra
Mark Vatsel: thanks, ive gotta do that!
LumoGraphite: thats probably the most construcitve critique i got for ages...

this is real nice man. Awesome work, keep it up!!!
edit::: haha this one makes me think you're parodying Chris Bennet's stuff: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1256859102
I think you are heading the right
way. I would suggest doing more
really quick anatomy/character
sketches. Just to get your poses
a bit more dynamic.
I'd like to see you finish more to the standard of the girl with the gun. You can do it, now do it more. Cute panda - I want one.
p sage: thank you
drd: haha, thanks awesome!
tuchten: i know, i have a general problem with poses...
Black Spot: takes soooo long
two tds, the hair of the girls still sucks...
Nice sketchbook you got here, mate. I really like your use of colours which got a harmonical feeling to them in most of your paintings.
As a small critique I think you should work a bit more on proportions and facial feautures, since some are a bit off, like this one: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1257035142 If you bring his eye to the same level as the mouth, it would be partly inside of it while it should barely even touch it.
Think the five eyed cube method, like Mentler does it. --> http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...4&postcount=94
Keep it up!
"I wish to paint in such a manner as if I were photographing dreams" - Zdzislaw BeksinskiMy Happy Little Sketchbook, please check it out and help me get better!
Wow those are some nice paintings... I am really loving the blue haired girl with the gun, but to add to what Krato said, try to paint the hair as a big shape before defining any of it, and be careful not to make it look like spaghetti. Keep it up!
hello nice gallery, you are not afraid of trying color and crazy desings, thats great! fat elektra is damn funny keep it up!
