Really diggin the straight black and white soldier dude, would love to see more of those.
With the guy jumping through the air I reckon if you paint in the background, even roughly it'll help the image develop by giving you colour options to pick out from and help the image appear. It might be a personal thing but I feel the momentum of painting an image can really roll when the image appears as a whole. It just seems like you've zoomed in and paid heaps f attention to the face at theis point even though the rest of the image needs some lovin'.
I think with those enviro pieces there could be some more narrative elements. For example in the first frame rather than have stormclouads already abouve the castle, pehaps have them rolling in from the side so it gives more of an impression of an approaching storm which plays into the idea of "storming" a castle.
Ok I've finished the harpy and started a troglodyte, my main idea was to do a re-make of the creatures of the game heroes of might magic 3 (Yea I love that game, even if its very old ! )
Don't know if I'll do others, but it was fun to do these two
DANKA : Thanks man
Cam Sykes : Thanks a lot for taking time to give some critics man, really appreciate it. I'll do my best to apply what you've said (for the harpy didn't make a background, because I wanted really to do like a character concept)
Teundeboer : Yea man :/ unfortunately we all had a lot of stuff to do, plus we were soooo motivated to start the new team chow but thanks a lot
Shadow Stalker : Thanks !
Liquidjack : Thanks man
Silveraxe : Tenk yu may frend
Xinranliu : Thankss
Clochette : Wééé c'était super de te rencontrer aussi And thanks a lot !
Giorge : Thanks
Cubesoflard : Thanks man, yea I'll work my enviros
Rushlord : Thanks a lot man !

heh, here I am again 10 pages later.
You've made amazing progress, man. Especially your characters look totally skilled by now!
Last two creatures look great too. I like how you made them come out of their frames. and sweet designs as well .
keep it up, dude!
You're really good man. I love seeing your progress from page 1 to 10. My favorite is the portrait of the soldier with the bloody mouth. Excellent. The image of the gentleman with the top hat and cloak is also good, it looks familiar to me as well. Have you changed your name or do I know you on another site?
Anyway keep up the good work. Its inspiring to see your progress.
Edit: Wait, I just realized... you're Markus the Barbarian right???
I'm really loving your style and the way you paint.
I think I've seen your work for awhile, just never went to your sb, sorry.
How do you manage to get the texture and the colors so smooth?
Anyway, great work, have a good one.
that last one the man in the tophat is done very well, i also like the development pictures on that military guy. keep up the good work
Man, this sb is always a pleasure I really like the last gnoll The bounty hunter looks nice, but I liked more the previous WIPs, I think that mainly because the position of the rifle.

Wow, I love the last one. Good choice of colors, man. You're improving in leaps and bounds
a small hint from me regarding the bounty hunter, concerning the face try to get back to the look you had in the first sketch, i think it looks better that way because her face says " I dont care about you maggot " AND " I am so fucking relaxed " at the same time
