Really great stuff you got here man, awesome portraits!
Shut up, you're stupidly good. How does this work? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4ucrfV0t1_.../s1600/red.jpg
The value changes are extremely subtle. Do you intentionally play down variation in the half-tones?
Lightship69 Thanks! You're always welcome here mate
Kvetch Thanks man!
Mannyhaatz Wow you did some diggin' in the basement man That piece is what? 4 years old. It's been so long.
BlackDelphin Cristina! you post like 1 time a year, but i'm always glad you do. Thank you
Here are 2 pictures i did a week ago.
I went to the US embassy here in Warsaw 6 days ago, and yet again returned only with grief.
They rejected my aplication the second time, so folks I doubt I'll be ever able to realise my dreams of studying at Watts Atelier in Encinitas, CA. Well, the only chance is lifting visas for our citizens, which I simply don't believe to happen. It's sad but I can't do anything about it. They take your money and give sadness in exchange, not the most polite thing in the world if you ask me... On top of that i'm really sick, barely can walk, fever and such
I will have to continue learning on my own, so you probably will see some more imagination stuff soon( hopefully ). And even more studies.
LastGen Hey thanks man, well i think it's rather bad in entire Europe not only Poland. This Euro zone economy crisis, bleh.
P You're too kind sir.
Hello folks, i've been sick for over a week, but now i'm back, healthy and working!
Here's some concept art for a yet unnamed game project, that i'm working on with my colleague Jakub Mularski. It will available on most mobile platforms. Android and iDevices.
The first one is worse than others as i wasnt really healthy when i did it, and it shows

Flag from the last piece is the best XD
Sorry to hear about your visas problems, its really annoying that we still cannot travel freely to the USA...
Keep it at, your sketchbook is really inspiring!

http://www.conceptart.org/showthread.php?t=267414 - c&c welcome
Well heck! Sorry about the application, I really hope you come through in a way,
resolving your problems and stuff. And get well soon!
Haha well yes, I usually post 1 time a year, don't I? :p But I always come back for more! xD
Just couldn't stay away, and to miss seeing your goodness getting better, can't lose that, nope, nope.
Now that i figured out better how things work, got myself CS 5 (which I might add, seems a lot more smooth
when sketching digitally) I intend to do german and draw in weekends. Even if it's just a little bit,
but you'll see me here again.
So keep rocking, and don't delete me out of your signature yet, cuss I'ma keep going!
Cheers, and keep sharing with us Ice!
tsabu Thanks , well i had to replace it with something more "proper"
ANtY93 Thank you very much, it's going to be an online shooter seen from above 3/4 view.
BlackDelphin Haha there's the girl! Good to see you again Cris. Well i don't think i have any chance of changing how they treat us, it's all political and frankly it sucks.
Well maybe some day in a galaxy, far far away...
Ah and you've earned your place in that signature not by any art quality, you've proven to be a kind and cool artist friend, and you'll remain there forever, even if you decide to stop drawing. But don't ever decide to do so, please )
Anyhoot, here are two sketches. I do a lot more than these, like pages of lip studies etc. But they serve a purpose of learning and not to become pretty drawings, soo they do not deserve showing.
I just want to let you people know that i didn't give up on it and will continue to learn on my own, afterall it's all that left, but hey it got me this far, it can sure get me even further.
great sketchbook man, I love all of the stuff! your step by step was really helpful and I think you progress is immense, thanks!
beautiful work man, your lines are so inspiring.
Hello everyone! Excuse me that i've kept you waiting so long for any update, but i'm busy working on the very same game project i've done concepts for. The title is World War too. I'm doing a lot of textures, and it will take some time until everything's finished. I did manage to finally sit down and grab a pencil to check if i still remmember how to draw...Heck! It's been over 4 weeks.
These are done withc charcoal and Conte crayon.
Your sketchbook is truly amazing, your pencils and lines are so clean and expressive.
Those soldiers are such a change from your style, they should totally make legos out of them as the head is already lego-like
amazing drawings mate !!! And thanks very much for sharing these game art, looks very interesting . Sorry to hear about not being able to go study where you want, but ok keep up anyway, self teaching is not that bad sometimes . Lets both keep up!!!
Your faces and just general pencils kick some serious ass!
Crits and help of any kind are more than welcome!
Ok, so here's a preview of what I'm working on, there's a lot, lot more, but this should suffice for now.
It's all hand painted textures on 3D meshes. Some final details will be added as decals in the final product. So consider the tank " almost done".
Hey man, been a while since I've looked in here, and you are doing some really nice things! I like the charcoal/conte sketches A LOT!
Sorry to hear about the issue with visas and Watts...I would love to study there too, but it isn't really feasible for me either (although more an issue of cash for me...plus the fact that it isn't accredited means I can't get a student visa or student loans, I'd probably need to go on a visitor's visa and go for only a semester at a time or something, which is a bit ridiculous). I went to a week long workshop there in the fall, and loved every second SO SO SO much! All the teachers were great and Jeff was amazing. I spoke with him about the issue of people having trouble attending the school, and he told me of a program he is putting a lot of work into developing...he is making an online school of sorts. From how he explained it to me, there are a ton of demos he is filming and then there will be basic exercises and such so you do all the stuff they do but at home, and then get feedback on it. It would be set up so it progresses, you know like, with oil painting starting with just burnt umber, then moving to burnt umber and white, then black and white, then limited palette, then open palette. It sounded like a fantastic idea and I know he is working hard on it. Oh, and I know he wanted to have it as cheap as possible, so it would be much more affordable than something like TAD or CGMA. He said he is aiming to have the first lessons/part of the course released sometime in late summer, like in August or something of this year. I have to admit though that I am a bit skeptical it will be released by then...despite the fact he is putting in a ton of hours working on it, the sheer scale of the project is tremendous and I worry he is a little optimistic about deadlines. If you haven't already, maybe send an email? He is a very generous man, so I'm sure would take the time to respond to you.
