Welcome to the CA forums! I must say, those works are really good for a 13 year old. I like especially the first one, although there are some minor flaws. I was going to suggest rendering it, as I see the shadows are well-placed, but I see in "celsiy" that you're also good at rendering. Now you can try to remove the drawing lines and attempt for a more realistic style, to see what happens.
Keep it up, that's a really nice start!
Oh, I like your style. I can see the anime influence very clearly (people see that in my works too) and was wondering if you drew something else than high school girls it could give you some new ideas. I know I need to do that!
Anyways, I'm gonna subscribe to this book. I want to see your progress.
Hot damn kid, you've got some serious talent! I could learn a thing or two from you, haha. Its good to see you're breaking away from the harsh anime style, its still apparent, but you'll have your own style in no time im sure! Just keep working at it.
I cant wait to see where you go from here! don't stop drawing!!!
13...? You make me feel so terrible about myself :p

I think you're supposed to use the upload manager (in go advanced->manage attachments) and not host sites like imageshack? I could be wrong.
Anywhoo, it's going to be a real boon for you later on to be on the ball so early like this in regards to realizing you need to get out of the anime rut (you can always revisit it later, once you've polished your foundational knowledge and skills, if it really calls out to you that is, but foundational skills are key and above everything). You seem humble and you've got a lot of creativity and smarts though, so you should be just fine.
Let's see, I'm not sure where you're studying your anatomy from by looking at the studies but I recommend checking out some George Bridgman (constructive anatomy)/Andrew Loomis books (you can find them online in pdf) and studying some anatomy from those (learn about planes, shapes and form, bones, muscles, etc, don't forget about backgrounds.). Also, I'm only just now starting to do life drawing but I'm kicking myself so hard in the nuts for being a lazy tosser when I was younger and not putting out the extra effort to JUST DO IT. I know you said you don't have access, but keep looking! If nothing else, draw portraits of your friends, draw in public. At the same time, don't neglect your imagination.
Hopefully you cull something from this long winded post. Keep up the good work! Stay keen and keep studying and observing!
For thirteen, you're very talented; your stuff is leagues better than mine was at that age. I'm excited to see where you might be in a few years. Drawing from life and in public can be tough sometimes as some people are fond of looking over shoulders which can be a little uncomfortable, but it really is worth it.
You are doing great!
I love you'r figure drawing..they may not be anatomicly correct
but they are cool and flowy, stylish (:
It is great that you are drawing from an early age, sometimes I wish
I could change back the time.
keep it up (:
O.K. everyone else has said it so I guess I will also: "WOW ! 13? incredible work." Your most recent figure studies are fantastic. I love the stylization. You have an excellent sense of line, proportion, foreshortening, and rhythm in those. Keep up the great work.
Might I suggest - for life drawing :
Find a park bench, plop yourself down, and draw whatever happens by.
Look out your bedroom window and do the same.
Use a mirror or three and do some self portraits.
Park your but in the living room and draw family members watching T.V.
Find a public library, go to one of the large reading tables, plop yourself down and draw the folks around you (or the employees behind the front desk).
Life drawing doesn't have to mean naked people in a studio.
See my STUFF
Agreeing with Chas: I've been drawing people at the bus stops when I'm on my way to work. It's more fun that way and you have a different model every time.
Baaaaaaaaaah, I wish I knew how to subscribe, your sketchbook is brimming with awesome~! *A*
And you are absolutely amazing for thirteen. owo Cripes. Also, is that some TTGL up there, hurhurhur?
P.S.-The biggest mistake I can see in your recent studies is that the woman's waist is too thin. She is being pinched by an invisible giant. The lips are fun though, made me smile.
"I have something you don't, but I didn't have before, but you don't have now, which means it's pretty much mine until you get it back, but until then, it's mine for now, but maybe later..."
You'r doing great (:
I think you should look more for proportion - sizes in relation to one another.
Sorry for my poor english
Oh my, this is amazing. o 3o I wish I'd known to start breaking out of the anime box as early as you have!
the only suggestion I can think of at the moment is to try adapting more of your original/fan character drawings to the lifedrawing/posemaniacs poses.
you've inspired me to go outside and draw some buildings.
PS. ttgl and ace attorney FTW :'D
Ah, you are painting fruits. They look juicy. And I also like those mouths, very realistic.
That girl you posted, it looks very Deviantart-like drawing. Nothing wrong with that but it doesn't really say anything.
You could try some other drawing styles, that could give you new ideas.
I am very happy about your Drawing , you have good talent and you are small age .
The best greetings
On your fruits check the edges, as they seem a little soft here. Don't be afraid of hersh edges, they are the reality afterall. The cherry looks fierce.
On the eyes and lips I suggest also looking at the edges. Facial features are connected to the skin of teh face and you have to try and subtly portray teh transition. It's not as easy as just a line!
Great, definately keep doing the studies. You've probably heard of these names before but I'll just throw it out there, check out Andrew Loomis, Glen Vilppu, Burne Hogarth, George Bridgeman. They've got great insight into proportions and things. And most importanly study from life, like draw your family members and things like that.
amazing work for your age!!
keep up the studies, ive also been trying to move away from anime-esque typr art buts reall really hard to lose it XD
The figure drawings are looking good, watch that you don't make the heads too small though, the head is as deep as it is tall. Urm I can't tell if on things like this http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...uli/021605.png the rib cage being so much smaller than the hips is exaggeration or just an innocent mistake, if so try some proportion studies. Keep it up..and use the attatchment manager, I've seen too many people lose all their work from using other hosts
