Hi! I'm starting this mostly to document my progress and get critiques to improve myself. I'll start the thread off with a sketch for the latest CHOW and something that I'm working on- I'll also be adding doodles and studies along the way.

Here's an update with the CHOW character. Posting it here as well. I seem to be making her too photographic. Could anybody help me figure out why that is? Is it a tonal thing? Or am I not simplifying form enough as I'm rendering?
Also, I tweaked the WIP piece - I realized that I had put the figures into the scene in incompatible perspective, but as I'm happy how the figures are developing I'm reworking the whole background. I think the perspective's better now. There's more space and there'll be stuff going on in the background. I think it's better. More air etc
