Hi every body and happy new year!
This my second "pictured post " here, since a long time, glps...
So here is a sample of a Heroic fantasy comic book I illustrate, called "ARAWN"
for European and quebec market
The second issue is about to be released (in january)
so I think it's a the good moment to show pictures from the two first issues...
Arawn is the celtic god of death, and the comic tell his story, how he became a god...
The illustration cover of the second issue:
I will soon post a complete page!
some picture from pages:
a double page:

cool stuff, Sire;
blame my conception I can't make out whether they're oils or Digital, ???
Lovely work. These look like oils to me, but if they're digital then that's some awesome brushwork!
beautiful paintings! lots of butts, hips, and monsters
Luis Royo...Vincent Segrelles... Reminds me of them. I love the butts! Great work.
Huge and bloody.
Good job buddy.
That's some beautiful brushwork there.
Is it just me or did something happen? I can only see the one painting (the last one that's also a thumbnail on this thread. Kind of hard to comment on a collection when the collection has only one painting. heh heh. I hope you get the other ones back soon.
Thanks a lot guys!
psychoboy: I work with acrylics, exept the cover of second issue (the first picture of this thread wich is an oil painting)
Sometimes I use a bit digital to put some effects...but it's not often.
Dahami: you're right these are some of my references!
DuckArt: oops... I think it's a navigator problem...For future threads,
I will put all picture in the attachments thumbnail...
- Anarchy -: Happy to know you've bought the first one!!!
So, here is a new page from the second issue:
You're reminding me of Frank Frazetta, more than Segrelles. Segrelles had a more refined painting style but he did with oils I believe and it took him much longer to complete them. Keep up the good work and please post more when you have the chance =)
Sweet, like your drawing style, looks cool, I suppose you're french, cause the comic is written ' en français ' . Really cool, I will buy some day one of your comic books at our store if they got some of yours.
sweet, that stuff was dope .... European and quebec market? any chance of it being in an english version?
the women are very poorly dressed for the cold of winter...

polipol and idiot apathy:
My editor is on negociations
with Marvel for an english translation.
I will give you some news!
Grizzliman: thank you! I'm effectively french
TheGnoll and juczpen:
Yes, bisley is one my references, Slaine has been a graphic revolution for me.
But the only one master has always been the only one Frazetta!
Amazing stuff...respect for artists who work with "classic" material.
I was always a fan of Frank Frazetta and some of your work is even better.
Keep up the good work.

Awesome work man I like them all...
Glad someone revived this thread.
I totally missed this the first time around.
- Dan Dos Santos
Truly great work. Really inspiring for the old and new artists alike I'd say. I myself am somewhere in between. Love the style, the strokes and color. Nothing says great fantasy like half naked women in the snow with big bloody blades. The four B's of great fantasy... Boobs, Butts, Blood and Blades.
