Oh my goodness, I love the mask charcoals. You've got a great sense of depth and volume with those artificial forms. The hands feel a lot less confident in comparison, but I enjoy how unexpected they are.
Traumadore Hey, thank you. I also feel like teh hands could have used mroe work, but i really sketched these out quite fast and I didn't want to overwork them, so I kinda did the hands in the same manner. For me they are okay in context with the simpleness of the masks, but thanks for your comment. I hope you enjoy the next batch as much.
Marian Rowling The masks are based on traditional West-African Mask designs, the hand idea is original.
Can I just take a moment and thank all of you guys here at CA for the support, kind words, criticism and the community that I got over the last two years. I am so stoked to have come this far in the my art, and I do not think I would have without this site. I got into art school with you, and I hope in a few years time I will be able to show you my diploma work in here. I really hope you enjoyed the sketchbook as much as I did. I will carry on, even if it has kinda developed into more than a sketchbook, and I hope I will be seeing you faces in the next thousand posts. That's right ONE THOUSAND POSTS!

Very talent man
What the what!? It seems my user cp has missed out on some of your updates...
Glad I checked it out, though! The updates are amazing, I love the sharpness you achieved in the masks, they look great! The first one you posted is my personal favourite, the light in that one is just amazing, very realistic!
The self portrait is wonderful as well, great work!
And I wanted to thank you for the very helpful comment in my Sb as well, it's great that you are still stopping by since day one

Nice work! Your figures are looking lovely. I especially like the style of the self portrait. i'd like to see more along those lines.
Let's see you push the line weight on those "inny" lines. I'll expect more form to pop from that!
Merry Christmas to you
I like those last few portraits. Is it watercolor pencil?
