Sweet....It makes me want to say a big word that i cannot pronounce. That is how awesome this is. I look forward to seeing much improvements this year.
I love your characters man. Amazing designs. Your take on the skeleton/ghost/wraith is pretty cool. The blue light definitely adds the right feel to it. About, your splash pages of the silohuettes and grayscales, how big do you work, and how long does it take you to produce a single character, such as the first one you draw/paint? Also, how long does it take you to complete?
awesome stuff... will be a damn hot sketchbook for sure!
*nom nom nom*
These are delicious. Love the Ghost Rider sketch.
The digitals are gorgeous. What tablet do you use? I'm just learning digital.
The first step - especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money - the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.
Bill- hey thanks man!! i look forward to this myself time to turn over a new leaf!!
madshark your so silly..
kapil- uh takes about 2-3 hours to just create the b&w versions sillos take about 30 mins depending oon how detailed i want to make them..
kristo- thanks dude!!
imbass- thanks dude!! i use an intuos 4x6
lilnebo- haha thanks for grilling me! always need someone to call me higher..
Your stuff is really strong. The knights in your first post is excellent.looking forward to seeing more .
Is what you swore
The time before
the way you have the fat guys left thigh pad positioned
makes it look like either his pants are falling off, or he has messed up hips
im jealous of your ability to paint from silhouette
WOOAA fuck!!! that fat guy and the black suletts are geniousman great all the other stuff is superb too!! man keep it going
but you might wanna watch out for the anatomy of that last guy here, hsis hands are pretty small and he seems to be leaning over a bit (to the front)
kep on posting your about to be badass soon man!!
holy cow dude!!! you are amazing!! keep it up the last guy looks tight cant wait for you to finish him! make sure you dont slide away from doing your anatomy!
Before I actually registered here I used to lurk in the sketchbooks section alot and your old sb was one of the most interesting for me. It was great to follow how much you progressed. You have some great creature/character designs here, keep it up!
oh so its a new one now =P
well happy new year mate, and good luck, looking foreward to see u inprove a lot this year.
those are some juicy posts man you have a reaal chill way of drawing which
really gives your work flow
and keep flowin
your concepts are great, but you must keep anatomy in mind
some quick studies help a lot (I should make more too )
Synth Kid- thanks dude!!
Oranje Joe- hehe your right his pants look weird.. will fix.. thanks for your crit!
Hygami- i know my lack of anatomy is killing me softly
soccerprojordan- your too modest..
Rotor- thanks man but i feel im no where close to what i need to become
Lotet- yep you too!! and remember to keep DRAWING!!
hunchbackmagee- thanks dude!!
Hive_minD- ok will do bud
Gerre- thanks man! yep need those uh.. studies..
heres a quick update on this guy.. i thought it would look better if we got rid of all the background content.. and focus more on the character itself..
Looks great, though, his neck and body looks really big and bulky while the arms look a little more puny... Dunno, just seems off, especially the neck area. But keep it up!
Reject, your avatar made me nostalgic of an old IPX Multiplayer Gaming community called Mplayer.
I clicked on your sketchbook and i'm really happy where I ended up :3
You have some gnarly silhouettes going on here. The character thumbnails remind me of the work from that Viking game for the 360. The knight is a pretty well executed image, the texture on him almost allows me to feel whatever shit he's been through.
I'd like to see the left most creature on the first trio of character sketches you've posted in a painting. Looks like he could be an interesting subject.
I'm not feeling the bagginess of the most recent soldier's legs. But that is just IMO.
I think you should
freakin sweet talent!!!! i think you should finish this guy!!!
