@ AlexTooth: and keep going i will
@ agelaos: yes i really trying to do as much from imagination as possible as i think that i lack a lot in that department.
@ Jakers: thanks for the cool response man. And yes i focus alot (too much) on the contour in my life drawings, and i don't do any under drawing at all .
thanks for the crit on the environment. I'll keep that in mind at future compositions.
Your always welcome back
@ Benjie: Thanks, glad you think so
--- todays update:
- First, 2 times boxer studies
- A silhouette exercise where i found some characters by different very talented people here on CA and i studied them.
- Some thumbs from imagination
- My very first cast drawing (damn it is haaaaard)
i also did something for the CHOW, but it sucked soooo much im not even going to upload it
Your on the right track so keep it up, try spend more time on the cast, you need to learn those subtle changes

@ kingkostas: thanks kingkostas , you are always welcome back
soo i have been working on the COW "Portal guardian", here is what im going to submit .
cool horror character!
Thanks for visiting my SB! You got a great collection of drawings in here. Wish, I had the discipline to draw more figures. I like the drapery and hair details in your drawings and the Rockwell study! Keep on posting pencil pages!
@ VanDog : Thanks
@ Chr. Steam:hmm i already do photostudies and lifepainting/drawing, but thanks for the suggestion anyways
@ Huey Yeng: Thank you. Skin tones are really hard to get right, one day.. one day...
@ surus:Thanks man, yea i definitely needs to do some more pencil work.
@ Pixie Trick:Yep i have focused alot on the outline of the figure, it about time i start moving inwards and start defining some mass.
- CHOW: rosie. hmm i still think that it needs some zombies and stuff
- life painting
- crap environment study.
Hey, things are looking really good in here. Your rendering on the COW and CHOW pieces is very strong - feel like you might want to push the design a bit more on Rosie there... It's tough with just a black dress like that, so I guess it's the accessories that's going to do the job - maybe a fancy necklace or some bracelets and rings. Really cool to see your great progress.
keep up the hard work, your improvement is very noticeable from the beginning of this thread. just keep at it.
MY SKETCHBOOK..http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=113275.....C&C welcome and wanted.
Oh man it's really cool to see all your studies, and such variety too! it's great to see that you mix it with stuff from mind to the side.
I was wondering, your bargue drawings, do you have a book for those or some high res pics? would love to get hold of some myself
keep up the inspiring work!
@ Benjaminba:Thanks, and yeah, the design blows
@ goodoldayz: Thanks for the motivational booth
@ Vritra: Thanks man
@ alexson:that is so true. Mr. delicious talked about natural lighting on the crimson daggers and he said it was alot more interesting to do, so im gonna try it out for myself
@ DefiledVisions: The bargue drawings i got from this site, i then printed it out.
- Still life
- Cast drawing
- female drawings
- A char that totally failed
DK_sketch: Thanks man, i will
Pixie Trick: yes i found it a bit strange as well that the weren't any highlights, but i think it might be because i use "natural lighting" so there was no direct light source on the still-life setup.
cgaddict : Thanks!
- A character for the CHOW, but i didn't really like it so i abandoned it before putting color on
- Crap still life of a cactus
- 2x environmental studies.
Awesome sketches, specially I like classic motifs
