Hi all, time for my end-of-year post. Here's a bunch of images, would love to get some C&C on these ones. Thanks in advance!
Here's a few pics I did at work in 2006 - 2007. I recently got clearance to show them. (Images below copyright W!Games)
Nice enviros! If you should ever happen to have a tutorial hanging around, would you care to put it up? I always wonder how people pull that off.
Your colour choices are lovely! They have such atmosphere and depth. I really like the idea of that alien robot thing. It's a nice twist on the typical alien beam.
And that mountain scene is beautifully shaded... all the shadows seem to be in exactly the right place.
very cool! I like your first painting with robot andcow Muuuu
wonderfull work man! love the snowy forest, your work have
a great realism. *****
Some of the best work ive seen all year, way to end the year with a bang!!
I couldnt begin to crit these, they are just so well crafted that i would feel very out of place to even try.
Ill just give you 5 stars instead and beg you to post more often. PLEASEEEE!!
I like the sense of scale in the one with the domed polar outpost. These are great.
Theses are really spectacular, I especially like the first one, and the way the atmosphere shows the scale of the machine. One nit pick on that one: It looks like the horizon line is about an average persons height (or slighlty higher) from the ground...and the top roof line of the barn looks very horizontal...which is throwing me off a little. To my eye, the top roof line should be tilted down slightly to put it in perspective with the low horizon. Really great stuff though.
love your snow forest painting. love the subtle colors . beautiful
Pretty stuff...reading the Pitch tut now...thanks for sharing these...what size canvas do you work on?
Amazing, I mean amazing landscapes, esp. the Ice scapes
Definitly 5 star material. Great use of color and atmosphere. These really are some solid pieces.
Thanks for posting here!
Warning: Severely outdated

Unbelievable painting technique...I love the interesting take on UFO's in the first one.
