please feel free to critique
I have been getting great assistance from friends with this piece... Two peeps who have been of infinite value are Alex "cakeboy" Jupp who knocked out some awesome 3d Vray renders for me of a scene i made in order to composite etc, and Jeremy Cook... you may not have heard of him, as his online presence is currently... non existant.. but he's promised me he'll be getting his stuff online soon, and when he does... brace yourself. He's a true dude with way too much charity in him
in the final stages some friends, who wish to remain anonymous due to top secret activities throughout europe... they know who they are ETRKAKRA hehe
Hope you enjoy!

Whoa...I can almost hear the sound of the generators powering up the vehicle...
very cool man
Stunning, great work!
makes me want to dig out 'cosmic motors -daniel simon' again.
I have to search hard for anything to crit,
I'm not sure, but the computer laptops(on the right) proportions in perspective don't quite look wide enough at that angle.
A couple of silhouettes of technicians might give a better sense of scale to the room, but really there is so much detail you get a good idea anyway.
The whole image is quite a wide angle, does the perspective go panoramic on the fringes?
I'd love to see more, I'll be sure to check out your website!
Wow i love this the only small minor tiny problem i had was reading the car/friken sweet veical thingie i wasnt sure if it was one big unit or two smaller motorcycle thingies but the plans on the tabel helped me figure it out
you will be posting more of your work right !!!

Above the great composition, design, tones etc...the one thing that makes this pic is the perspective. You nailed it.
I think it's the amount of detail here that really makes the piece. The cup by the laptops, the tools on the far wall, the piece of pizza by the blueprints...
As Extollere said, it'd be great to see that 3D mock-up.
love the vehicle. post more pleaseeee
Sometimes you stumble across a piece of work that you just can't stop staring at; you keep looking back at it and seeing more and more little details. This is one of those. Thank you so much for making me smile before bed.
Please stop by my sketchbook!
Amazing dude, it works perfect for me. It s a bit hard to get a good vision of the size tough, mayb add some human character in it. The thing seems huge compared to the little computer screens.
But it looks perfect like this so maybe just keep it like this Crewl!

Check me out
! guys !
thanks for the great responses... it really makes me happy when people dig this stuff. Enthusiasm is generally lacking in people i know, so its uber to get this kind of response. thanks.
mvocet... i made a 3d base... this accounts for the accurate GI
Kir Nuyts... yeh man, you are completely right.. i should have had a human element in there... the next image will do. it is a *big* car... the wheels are 2m tall.... thats the same as a 6 foot man.
kinjura: thankyou dude. glad you like it.
Demo: you are definitely right... there are some confusing elements in there... i will be focussing a lot on composition in the future before investing in any base renders
boase... yeh, silhouettes were an idea, but i couldnt find anywhere to stick them for a nice silhouette...next image i will definitely have human elements.
Thanks to all you guys. really pleased you like it...
That's a really nice piece. I like it.
I would love to see some of the initial 3D setup/renders...
