@ clifFroth: all the color studies are done in photoshop, tried painter for a while but it has an annoying tendency of crashing without warning
uhm kinda a small update but here is stuff
I have started to time my work to see how fast or indeed slow im working
first up is some lord of the rings screenshot painting 40 min
quick life study just over 20 min
and 2 10 min studies
20 min on this one
Fede studies, dude (excuse mit halvt english halvt danish)!
Jeg skal skal sku også sætte min røv i frigear og lave nogle af de her. Ser ud som om dine stærkeste sider so far er lys, values og farver. Virkelig godt.
Those are some really impressive studies, especially your line work. Very crisp and clean, and you handle faces exceptionally well. I really like how you handle your shading as well.
Nice speedpaintings too, very loose brushwork which I dig. As for critiques, I'd say be a bit more careful on nailing the shapes for your speedpaintings at an early stage, then work on the values/colors later on - I think that will make it a bit easier to render.
Other than that, you're doing great with these studies.
Great studies, the top eye is very pretty. I like the lord of the rings paintings.
Nice studies - Especially the environments. Your command of colour and shapes is good, and I can see clear improvement from page 1 - keep it up!
@ cgaddict: Thanks a bunch, and yeah you are totally right i use most of my time painting correcting errors i did early on .
I´ll start doing some more pencil studies and antomy studies to correct that. Thanks a lot for pointin that out.

@ Vatsel: Thanks alot. well it´s been a bit slow lately but i´ll try and get some more motivation to continue with updating with as many studies and sketches as i can.
And yeah you´re right I really should do some more polished studies, and I will just need some more quikies to get some confinence to refine them.

Been trying to win the battle against cobber, it´s hard but im getting the hang of it now. really learned alot from this one 40 min
and here is some more stuff.
The life drawings in charcoal where done last monday but I didn´t have any protective spray so i couldn´t scan them till i bought some wich I have now done
Beethoven or it´s supposed to be anyway
just doodling around and this is what i got
and a black on black life study. This one defeated me, but i´ll have my revenge
I really like your painting and drawing studies. It would be great to see some more work totally from imagination. When you create work from your head, it helps you figure out what you are lacking or what you might not know how to do.
Hey mate, nice studies and sweet lines. Probably, when you doing digits, you should try to pay more time into defining edges, and smoothing transitions (smudge tool with textured brush applied). Anyway, keep it up )
awesome SB! I love to see quick studies that arent interested in the look of the line or anything but just how that color or tone lies on the image, which is what I got from some of your studies really nice stuuffff
Nice job. I like the colors studies
My portfolio http://lucaspandolfelli.blogspot.com/
Finally finished http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=238380
@ Vatsel: well then kick back. Thanks alot mate, and yeas i know some polished still coming up soon haven´t done any still´s today but tomorrow i will and i´ll try and make it finished if i can get my lazy ass moving
@ Istmin52: I totally agree. I haven´t done alot of stuff from head resently and i could tell when started doing some today.
I really should try and balance it more thanks for pointing that out and thanks for visiting
@ clifFroth: Thanks alot man. from what i can see in youre sb you aren´t exactly a slacker keep it up
@ Seraph Fawkes: damm you hit my achilles heel spot on im having real trouble with the transsitions but i think it´s because im doing everyting as fast as possible.
Thanks for the hint about the smudge tool i´ll try that out.
@ Malakuko: thanks alot. Yeah im trying to seperate the line and the colorstudies (paper for line ps for colors) that way i can give my full attention to colors or lines
