Hey folks, quick update, another random shape challenge from yours truly~ enjoy!
Wow, I can't express how many times I laughed at some of your artwork your extremely creative also keep it up I'd love to see more.
I'll get around to posting it. It's just that this site's size and file extension restrictions make me need to reformat everything in order to show it. That's why I've been lazy. Once I finish my particles project and a couple of commissions, I'm gonna make a fat post. Promise.
i have an unhealthy fascination with EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!!!!!!!
J: Don't call my escorts hookers.
B: Mom's still got it!
J: I don't date whores!
L: This objectification of women has to stop!
M: It's just mom and whores...

Amazing amazing updates recently, you really have found your niche and I must say it's almost perfect. Your lines are always cleand and defined and your imagination is much better than mine. I always seem to make boring stuff our of these shapes.
Keep up the good work! I love seeing what you come up with every time

Hey guys and gals, not an art update, but you'll probably find it fun anyways!
Ever since I got serious about completing sketchbooks, filling up every page front and back, i've been curious about how much weight gets added to the book in the end from all the pencil and ink, and even mucky hand grime, ew!
I tended to forget about doing it until i was already well into the book so i could never get a base weight, but luckily my most recently completed 4x7in book came in a 2-pack! So I had one brand new book and one filled to the gills. I took 'em to the post office for my experimentation. (I wish i had better picture documentation...)
I weighed the unused book(pictured on left) and got 11.9 oz. Pretty nice!
I weighed the filled book(pictured on right) and got a surprising 12.6 oz.!! Whoa!
That's almost a whole ounce of ink, graphite, tape, glue, random bits of paper...and don't forget mysterious grime from who knows where~ ugh!
I had an unnatural amount of fun doing this, and I'm going to try and do it with every sketchbook I start from now on. I'm about a quarter of the way through my current book, so stay tuned for my next weigh-in!

Your sketchbook is fantastic. You have a great style and everything is super marketable which I'm glad you are taking advantage of, etsy rocks. those zombies in your last post are sweet and the random shape creativity exercise - I'm super impressed. I don't think I could come up with much for that but every one of yours is unique and really well done. I am definitely subscribing to this thread and can't wait to see what else you post (:

sketchbook. comments/advice appreciated (:
Really liking the ideas here, funny stuff! I've got to look through this whole thing sometime. Bit of a crit, I wish you had broken the outline of garlic pal with the expressions, having everything contained in the same outline is making him seem rather flat.
Aw man, been forgetting to check out your SB for so long. Better subscribe!
Shit is still hella hot.
Are you working professionally? You should be.
HunterKiller_ - Hey dude, always happy to have you browsing around here. As for work, nothing professional as of yet. just off jobs here and there, but your words give me hope! Thanks!!
Aresa - Thanks bud! That cartpillar is based off of one i caught a couple weeks ago. The night after i found it, it pupated! Just hatched into a butterfly a few days ago, i should made a drawing of that as well c:~
Vertical - Awesome crit, you're completely right, thanks dude!
psage - Haha, you would like that one wouldnt you Thanks man for constantly dropping through here. You're a champ!
HomicidalManda - Yo! Thanks for taking the time to drop by, i really admire your work so i'm happy to see your face here c:
neonndreams - Thanks a billion for those encouraging words :o! My stuff on etsy doesnt garner much attention at the moment, but hopefully things will pick up. Got more random shapes in this post as well, hope you enjoy 'em!
Hey people. Been a bit busy lately, preparing for the 30 Character Challenge. Lotsa thumbing and such. You can see my first post for it down at the very bottom. His story is as follows:
"Ken Holsworth was the foremost expert on growing gigantic record-smashing pumpkins. One night in October his competitors had enough, if he wasn’t going to share his secret, he wasn’t going to win the 2011 harvest-festival blue ribbon. Late at night while Ken was tending to his precious pumpkins he was ambushed from behind, killed in cold blood and left in the patch. Over time as his body deteriorated and fed the pumpkins, his spirit crept into their root system as well, which soon overtook his long withered corpse. Now renewed with otherworldly botanical strength, Pump-Ken is on the prowl to exact revenge on those who did him wrong."
Expect more soon!
