This seems like the most logical place to post this, but if I'm wrong I'll leave it to the Admins to move it. By ZUDA contest rules, I'm not allowed to show full finished comic pages... but some finished comic panels are a loophole I'll exploit for my own purposes.
for those of you who like process a bit (I know this strays from thread boundaries a bit, but it all fits under the same title):
Now, if you like what you've seen and want to see more, I need you to go here:
take a look... if you like what you see, be kind enough to vote and maybe they'll be kind enough to pay Justin and I to finish the story.
To all my fellow CA members ENJOY!!!
awesome comic stuff man
personal favorite panel-------- http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...e04_panel1.jpg
The black brushwork is very energetic, the colors compliment it very well, cant wait to see them all together
Aww c'mon man Show the valkyries! I really dig the work you did on those especially. This is a good read for an 8 page pitch that Zuda does, and I think you've got my vote this month.
Equality72521 - thanks for the comment, i appreciate it and hope I get to show you more in the future.
saulone - I would love to show that here, but I'm skirting the edge of the rules right now.
Instead I'll post something else I do every once in a while to get myself going in the morning. They're finished pieces, just meant to be done really quick so my juices get flowing in the morning.
Essentially, a one frame comic series I've just started up called "Number 5" that has the ability to exist for as long as I feel like drawing them...
Alright people, keep them votes coming:
so this is up for voting @ Zuda..?
i've been tryin hard to put my stuff there..
neva got much time and them i was hard romancing concept art.org when ever i get time..

take it all..
awesome is the best word i get..
I am a zuda follower and a contestent hopeful, I voted for your entry as well.
I had a question about your statement:
"By ZUDA contest rules, I'm not allowed to show full finished comic pages... but some finished comic panels are a loophole I'll exploit for my own purposes."
Though I am not a legal expert nor a perfect reader, I was unable to find any particular verbage within the agreements that would allow for the "publication" of even individual panels. Where did you see this loophole to exploit? I would like to use it, but am fearful of disqualifying myself. Any ideas?
Miticis- when your work is accepted you are asked by the editors to remove any fully finished pages for the duration of the contest.
since none I don't show any complete pages, and any panels I show that might have text, don't, I'm trying to sneak my own loop hole in there as not to piss off the ZUDA higher-ups too much.
I'm the winner of last month's competition with my comic Azure.
Firstly - John - I dig your stuff. Dug up some of your other threads here - dig the sketch stuff. Nice loose gestural style. Some reminded me of Barry Windsor Smith, only darker.
Miticis - hey mate. Good to see you here too. As a current competitor I think it's probably fine to show panels without words - so long as there is nothing furthering the story, but even I am not an authority. As a potential competitor I would worry more - I certainly did. Personaly, I don't agree with what the Screaming Eagles cats are doing on this forum (showing the entire page). Seems more than a little rule breaking to me.

Also, Digital Strips podcast gave a pretty good review of Rumors of War in their November 2008 ZUDA watch episode (They review the comics alphabetically, so R.O.W. is about 70% of the way in). There is a lil under a week left, so if your inclined to do so, check it out and give us a vote if you like what you see.
